Aim Optics 3-9X40 Rubber Armored P4 Sniper Scope with Rings, Large, Black

I got this to replace an old Weaver .22 scope. I don't know what it would do on a high powered centerfire but it's a nice inexpensive scope for a .22 cal. rifle. I haven't had any problems with it so far. Mounting it was something of a problem. The 1 inch rings that come with it don't fit real well because of the rubber armouring so I had to be innovative and cut some of rubber away and cement it fast with rubber cement. Now I don't worry that the scope is going to creep in the rings. It still keeps true after 150 rounds or so.

This is a 3 to 9X scope by AIM Sports with a rubberized coating and included weaver/picatinny rings. The picture is clear and the mil-dot crosshairs are user friendly. It is easy to mount to any properly sized rail and includes all tools necessary to do so. It does not, however, come with a tool to align the sights, though all that is required is either a standard head screwdriver or a coin. This is a lovely scope (for an airgun, at the very least) for the price (30$ when I got it, any more may be a bit much), and I would highly recommend it to any airsoft marksman or pellet rifle user. I can not personally speak for its effectiveness on a firearm, as I do not own one, so please look for a testimony from someone who does and plan your purchase accordingly.

it has been a few months since I purchased this and the rubber coating is off and the scope is foggy. The first 3 weeks I was happy with the scope. After the first 30 days the scope crapped out. I have been waiting two months for the manufactuerer to send a replacement.

Seems like a good enough scope but the caps that cover the adjustment knobserved don't fit very well and I can only get a couple threads on and the rings aren't tight. It looks good and the glass is clear though.

it works on a 22 good not good for much bigger

This scope is the bomb. I purchased it to mount on a Ruger 10/22...it mounted up perfectly and (miracle or miracles) it required no adjustment. Scope was on the money at 25 yards. The rubber armor seems to be of good quality and the optics are clear. The 3-9 adjustment is a little tight because of the rubber armor but it is not a show stopper. The mounts that come with the scope are adequate enough for plinking and some varmint hunting.

The focus ring (closest to your eye) will not stay tight. After every shot with my little air rifle, it comes loose and the sighting is off. I would not recommend this to anyone. Its not even worth the shipping.
