American-made, Korky is excellent!
This was a replacement for a 13-y.o. flapper in my Toto Drake that was deformed and leaking from age. Sturdy, high-quality, and very simple install! Retains water and flushes well! Support American-made products!

A well design flapper that gave more options to try for a more sucessful installation.
Worked perfectly with my Toto Supreme first time out: Solidly and no leak. I tried many different brands and finally came across this gem and wondered why I didn't spot this flapper first (well, maybe I was skeptical about the Universal fit of the product, but it finally won over me with the frustration). First of all, where all the brands I tried had failed (and I tried a lot and ended up with a box full (kind of) of flappers and great disappointment), this model 3060BP has a really THICK rubber that not only resists bending/deforming, but it also lasts longer than other models. The thickness is the key to a tight seal; so if a MFG said that they came up with a new and improved model of flappers, and it was thinner and didn't have good reenforcement, then you can guess the result of such design. Korky isn't the only company that made a thick flapper for my Toto Supreme, but a company that gave me confident with THIS one particular product. I tried another Korky model and it failed. Second, it's the intelligence in the design that makes it more likely to success where the rest of them may or may not work out for you. I am talking about including 2 sizes "hook adapters" for small/large "ear diameter" (the protrusions on both sides of the flapper valve's tube). Further more, each of the hook adapter can be installed face in or out to fit narrow/wide position of the "ears" thru the reversible of the hooks. So, you have 4 chances before declared that "this Universal flapper didn't fit" (and of course, if it still doesn't fit, then it's time to try another brand). Thirdly, the bulb that allows the water to quickly/slowly fill the bowl was tall and slender, therefore kept this bulb from contacted with the wall of the 3" opening and thus gave more chances for rim to cover 3" hole with nothing interfering. So this allows this flapper more chance of success where others failed. If any thing would be an improvement for this product would be in the instruction, make it clear to the consumers that they can try a number of different configurations before calling for help or trying a different brand. Mine came with 1 extra hook (intead of 2), and unless I over looked, I didn't see the instruction for the extra hook and what to do with it. My flapper came in a package that had a side-opening in between the paper backing and the plastic front cover such that the chain felt thru the opening and one of the bigger black hooks got loss. But luckily the standard hooks worked in the default "toed in" position, so didn't have to send for a replacement. Congratulation Korky on a thoughtful and well design product: It's truely a "more" universal flapper.

Premium flapper valve easily fixes many flushing problems.
These are the "premium" flapper valves that fit most toilets. Often this cheap and easily installed part is all that's needed to fix a toilet that doesn't flush right. If your old flapper looks faded, try installing a new one. Flapper valves are usually rubber, even the better ones; rubber doesn't last long submerged in chlorinated water. Almost all toilets need to have the flapper replaced about every 5 years.

Worked on a toto
The original seal finally broke and this one replaced it. It seems to work well on a toto.

Great toilet flapper replacement
Super easy to install - clips in easily, chain is adjustable, and the hook is secure for attaching to the flush lever. Made of a flexible material that forms a tight seal, avoiding the leaking issue that I was having with two of my toilets. Durable - I replaced one flapper in a Mirabelle toilet 2 years ago, and it's still working great (a little discolored but no leaks). I'm sure there will be a time when I need to replace the flappers in the remaining toilets in my home, and I'll definitely come back to the Korky toilet flapper!

It’s a good short term flapper
This is the second time I bought this flapper which gives me an opportunity to write a review. Overall, it’s an easy installation and a quick fix. However, if I find a better quality flapper, I will definitely go elsewhere next time. The reason why this particular flapper is not good, is because it begins to disintegrate after a few years of time. What that does is it leaves residue around the rim where the flapper comes down. As a result it doesn’t make a tight seal anymore but rather an UN-EVEN seal. So you’ll slowly lose water and possibly not know about it until you hear the toilet continually filling up intermittently. That could cost significant money compared to the cheapness of the flapper. I’m hoping the quality has gone up on this version. The only reason I got this was one again is because I know it fits and I’ll keep an eye on it this time around. I hope they improve the quality of the flapper as this might be the last time I make this purchase.Hopefully I did not make a mistake again.
