Portable, good quality watercolor paint set!
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this watercolour paint set. Very well thought design. The container shuts very well, no loose joints. The paintbrush is of great quality and can be retracted to stay inside the case for portability. I particularly like the ridges on the covers. A subtle feature but helps create compartments where I can mix my colours. The metal water container feels sturdy. I use the cover of the water container for "clean water" while the rest of the water container for "dirty water" which allows me to dip the "dirty" brush into the main container first and rinse the "cleaner" brush on the cover afterwards.Only issue was the box arrived a little tattered. Then again this is more of a delivery issue than a product issue. Great kit! Highly recommended.

For clever gift givers and collectors of adorable things
Totes worth it for the tin and travel brush alone. Since falling in love with a little watercolor set from Prima Marketing, I’ve been trying to lazy-detective my way to finding a specific paint color made by possibly a common manufacturer. I can’t even confirm Mungyo manufactures Prima Marketing (or Jane Davenport paints), but I care less about this fact than exploring the general mystery of manufacturing and re-branding and how both frustrating and fascinating the effects of marketing can be. I digress. If you’re into hand-made plein air kits, appreciate adorable and functional doo-dads, or just love the idea of a charming little gift, this fits the bill. The travel brush included looks, paints, and feels remarkably like the Escoda Versàtil. A nice weight, and doesn’t feel cheaper, if you know what I mean. The clip-on water tin is the perfect, useless addition that made me ultimately decide: what the hey, if you’re gonna be impulsive might as well get this gadget, my kiddos will love it when I put red kool-aid in it and tell them it’s for a hummingbird I hope to draw near and keep me company while I am happily painting the great outdoors. It’s got other great uses anyways, I’m sure you can imagine for yourself. The metal palette has a fold-out piece that secures the 12 half pans when closed, provides space for mixing, and of course is the perfect perch for a lil’ birdie to stop by for a drink. It is also an exact match for the Mungyo, Prima, and Jane Davenport watercolor containers, down to the securing ring and pull out tray.In summary, travel brush and tin make this a winner over similarly priced sets, especially if you’re not too concerned about the paints or color selection (which re-wet nicely, and work just fine for your on-the-go watercolor sketch here and there). Half pans can be removed, interchanged or substituted with your own custom palette. Water cup for storing a wet sponge or some ink for a little dip pen and voilà: charming gift!Fun and cute.

Portable, high-quality, vibrant watercolor set! (With extendable brush and pot)
I was looking for a travel-friendly watercolor set, and found this one! most sets I saw on Amazon had an extendable brush, but this set included a water pot for the same price. My main concern was the colors and quality of the paint - but I was really pleasantly surprised!! I swatched the colors and love them. This is ideal for a beginner watercolor set for kids or adults - a really, really great value for the price!

Great quality. I’m impressed.
I haven’t water colored in years and wanted to start again in my traveler’s notebook. These paints are really blendable and the size is perfect. The brush is great too, just the right size and I like that it has a cover. The water tin clips on perfectly and also has a cover. If I ever want to travel with this, it will be perfect. I was eyeing the Jane Davenport watercolor set but honestly this was cheaper and had more colors and looked more travel friendly. Win win.

Nice little travel set
I had to use pliers to get the brush parts unstuck but once it was separated it worked fine. At first I thought the little cup had rust inside but a closer look showed that the marks I was seeing were actually from where the clip on the bottom of the cup was attached. Paint seems fine but I will know more after I've used it for awhile. Nice little travel set.

Great beginner set
The tracks that hold the paints are a little bit crooked, but not the noticeable and doesn't affect the usage. The colors are pigmented and vibrant. The compact size is good for taking outside to paint and there's plenty of space for mixing the colors. Overall a very nice palette for a beginner like me.

Don’t do it
Bought this set for the case, not the paints. The case is fine, but I tossed the paints and later learned that empty options exist elsewhere online. The pigments are really poor quality...perhaps fine for a child but not for even a serious beginning artist.

Great, portable paint set.
It's a great little paint set. Everything is easy to clean. It's a great set to take outdoors to do a little painting.
