This came in the time frame it said. Had a lot of pieces and they are small however it was not difficult. The glue worked great and months later still holding well even with kids playing with it. The instructions were well written and each piece numbered so no guessing. The only issue I had was with the track fitting perfectly seemed to be a bit short but did work. I guess my exceptions on the rubber track was different then I received but after being put together no one would know that it was glued. Everything fit perfectly otherwise even the track did it was just that I need an extra set of hands to hold it together the rest can be done alone.

Small but has a purpose if your into the churchhill days goes great with the British fleet , take this building slow it will look great, give it some paint, original paint is dull

The mould tools for this kit were according to the box made in 1961 and it shows,had I known the quality upfront I would rather for the price bought a couple of the revell 1/76 kits it may have cost a couple of pounds more but at least the parts fit together with no rework unlike this kit plus I would have had 2 kits, by today's standards this kit should be priced around £5 at least then the poor fitting parts could be put down to price. Airfix should be ashamed of issuing this kit in its current form and at its current price tag, the detail is dull or fuzzy the parts are not a good fit whether this is down to the mould slip/wear or they just didn't care it's hard to tell. If your looking for a decent Churchill tank model look else where, if you just want a lowish price kit and don't care what it looks like when you're finished you may be happy with this kit. This kit is not suitable for a beginner as the finished article is very likely to put them off permanently. This kit can look half decent if you have a lot of experience and are willing to put the time and effort into making it so, but at this price range I would imagine they are aiming at this being a starter kit which it is very much not.

Haven't made a model kit for lots of years and fancied trying again as the tools and paints have improved. Wanted something inexpensive to see if I wanted to continue. It is a small kit but has quite a few parts because of the tank track. Instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. Some of the parts had some flashing on them and others needed a bit of sanding. Overall though there is a lot of detail that highlighted.Overall I am happy with the kit and the end result.

While im a beginner at models i was looking for an easy to assemble piece this was it. Unfortunately the plastic wasnt of a quality thatd id have liked having issues such as peices not fitting together correctly. However for the price this was a fine practice piece and something im gonna practice battle worn paint on. So id say get it if your new to making models and want something easy to make and not to fussed about. Theres 11 steps in total with step 1 being the wheels for the tracks x 22. So that is where the pieces are as they come to 66 peices in total. The rest is really really simple.

Ok, its an old matchbox kit, but for its age it has good details and you can make it look presentable over a weekend. Best part of that kit is the amount of individual touch you can add. Just compare historical photos.And I definately recommend PLASMO s youtube video before you built that Churchill, he has some great ideas!

Bought this to do a conversion ( with resin parts from another company ). An old kit now and a pain to build in places. I think it’s 1960’s vintage. But if you want something to chop about to make another version it’s cheaper than the more modern kits. And it’s 1/76 ...,,
