Hey! Watch this!
Great show, brings back memories. Silly, creative, hilarious fun to watch. Top notch voice actors. Started a wave of other shows that came after.

Yippie!
2 Stupid Dogs began their corn-chasing misadventures in 1993, accompanied by segments of "Super Secret Secret Squirrel" sandwiched in the middle. These shows became the launching point for many greats in the animation industry including Craig McCraken (Powerpuff Girls), Genndy Tartovsky (Samurai Jack), and Rob Renzetti (My Life as a Teenage Robot)These two drifting canines and emissary rodent set a precedent for Hanna Barbera's ensuing animation renaissance that persisted through-out the 90s and early 2000's. Without the success of 2 Stupid Dogs, we may never had shows like What a Cartoon!, Johnny Bravo, or Dexter's Laboratory.2 Stupid Dogs holds a special place in my heart as one of my fondest child-hood memories. To this day, me and my family still find ourselves quoting Mr. Hollywood's famous line "Ain't that cute... BUT IT'S WRONG!":Update: (7/25/2020) To clarify, this DVD is presented in its original and proper aspect ratio of 4:3. Another reviewer on Amazon has mistakenly claimed that this is presented in a stretched format only. That is incorrect. However, some disc players will automatically switch 4:3 media to stretched, which is most likely what this reviewer was experiencing. This can easily be switched back to in the settings. Do not be discouraged from picking up this set, it is fantastic.:The DVD:Episodes:All episodes from the first season of "2 Stupid Dogs" and "Super Secret Secret Squirrel" are present and in order by air date.Episode listings are included on the discs.Episode List:(Disc 1)1. FINALLY!
THANK YOU WARNER ARCHIVES for releasing this wonderful show on DVD! It is absolutely fantastic! The video quality is excellent and the episodes are complete and uncensored. They even left the commercial break bumpers in, which are cut off when the show airs on Boomerang, so it's great to see those. If you loved this show as a kid, you'll get a kick out of it now that you're an adult (or teenager, depending on your age). Heck, even if you've never seen it and enjoy funny cartoons, you might enjoy this show. There are jokes in it that fly over kids' heads, but make adults snicker. My only problems with this are:1) The frame rate for the first episode appears to be off. Animated cartoons usually have a frame rate of 24 or 25 fps. When the frame rate is increased, it does NOT make the video "smoother". All it does is add frames that are not originally there which then transfers into horizontal lines when the characters move. I haven't noticed this problem in other episodes so far. I'm a video editor, so whenever I see this in professional DVDs, it really bothers me. I don't know why companies do this or if they're even aware they're making a mistake when it comes to frame rates.2) The episodes have a stretched aspect ratio that is set to widescreen to fit modern HDTVs. This show is supposed to be full screen, so it should have black bars on the sides of the episodes to compensate for this, but instead it gets stretched out, so the characters and everything looks wide. Again, I don't know why DVD companies continue to do this, but it can be fixed by changing the aspect ratio on your TV, which I almost always do. This show is revolutionary for Hanna-Barbera (and TV cartoons in general) in the sense that it was one of the first shows to have such a drastic and different design. This is ruined by stretching it to fit widescreen. The above issues are just my two cents. I can notice these kinds of things more often because I'm a video editor. It probably won't bother most people. These are really just small issues that shouldn't make you not want to purchase this great DVD set. If you're a fan of this show, by all means, pick this up! Plus, you'll be supporting 2 Stupid Dogs on DVD. :)Always buy the real thing! Down with DVD piracy!

Very funny stuff for adults and children alike
I first discovered this stuff when it ran on TBS some years ago. Often broken up into bits. Really nice to see the full complete episodes like this. The Super Secret Secret Squirrel stuff didn't impress me as much as the original Secret Squirrel Show of the 1960's. Never understood why they changed the head of the spy agency from a human into a water-buffalo for one thing. Two Stupid Dogs however was always hilarious. The little dog especially. I look forward to the release of the next volume.

the full run of Super Secret Squirrel
The great thing about this collection is that all the Secret Squirrel stories from the 1990s are included, which sold me on buying this one straight away. The fact that a 1960s Hanna-Barbera character was reinvented nearly 30 years later is testimony to his appeal. You also get the first season run of the 2 Stupid Dogs stories.
