Q: Do they come with spare laces?

I've ordered 6 pair and none of mine did. They do come laced though.

Q: Do these make a slapping sound against the floor when you walk?

There is no 'slapping sound' while walking.

Q: How do I order the right size? I don't understand the size chart or any of this stuff.

At the top the European size appears at the bottom it converts to the US size the shoes run a normal size

Q: Are these shoes free from animal products? The back patch looks like it may be suede.

I am not sure. There isnt a ton of information on the tag inside of the shoe other than the size. I can tell you that they are very comfortable and have turned into my favorite pair of shoes, In fact I'm wearing them right now
