Great for reducing bladder spasms
I'm a 24yr old female with intermittent bladder issues. I have a small bladder, (had a sonogram and everything), I also have a minor issue with my bladder being able to tell my brain when I have to urinate sometimes though this is not often.I typically have some AZO on hand for multiple uses.Caffeine is very bad for continual use for myself so if I feel more urgency when I have to urinate I will take one dose of azo to calm my bladder for a little while. When I go out for a night on the town and am enjoying adult beverages I will also take one dose before I go out, to ensure I am not waiting in line for a half-full tank.I also take this when I have a UTI or kidney infection to reduce burning, urgency and empty tank visits. There is absolutely no interactions with this product and any antibiotics, steroids, birth control, ect. This will discolor your urine to a burnt orange to bright yellow color. Does STAIN light colored clothing, toilet seats, linoleum floors. This package is ideal for the price, I do not recommend the AZO maximum package. There is very few doses and the difference is not noticeable, the medicine is the same. The walgreens off-brand version also seems to be lacking in comparison to the AZO standard in terms of effective length.Hope this review helps!

Very helpful product
My wife depends on this product. She has chronic illnesses that cause frequent episodes of bladder spasms and lower abdominal and lower back pain. She talked to her Doctor about this med and he said she could use it daily if she needs to. Since going on this med she has been able to reduce her narcotic pain med substantially. The only problem is that it turns the urine orange. If the orange urine gets on the toilet seat or on clothing it can stain. My wife says it is worth that problem because it works so well to reduce her pain. She has found ways to reduce the staining such as wearing pads. Hope this helps someone. Make sure you talk to your doctor before using this med on a daily basis as the directions recommend short term use.

I love this product when I have a UTI!
This product with the exact ingredient in it that I was looking for (phenopyridine) was hard to find on Amazon at a decent price. But I found these and I received three boxes. The directions say to take two tablets to relieve the discomforts of a UTI. This does not treat a UTI, rather it helps with the burning sensation you feel upon urinating when you have a UTI. I think this over-the-counter medication is a miracle!! I am not sure how I would get through a UTI without it. The tablets are a deep orange/red color and very tiny. I would say they are smaller than a pencil eraser head. Beware that once you take these and you void (urinate), your urine will be bright/dark orange. It can stain but comes out with soap a water. It has left an orange tint in my toilet but with a quick toilet bowl cleaning, the color is gone. You should not take this just prior to seeing your doctor for a possible UTI because your doctor will likely want to test your urine with a dipstick and this will make the dipstick unreadable due to the dark color this makes your urine. Just an FYI. But I love this product!
