Do you like a flimsy, expensive cabinet w/engineering flaws? Then this is for you!
I looked at this cabinet for a few weeks before I decided to purchase it. I went through and read all the reviews from 1 star to 5 stars and saw that a majority of the reviews were positive, so I finally purchased it. I was so excited because our new house didn’t have much storage and I was planning on using this as a hallway cabinet to hold our bath towels and other stuff. Here’s the only PRO I can give you: I love the color and it didn’t take long to assemble it. That’s it.CONS: You might want to pour a drink before you read the list of CONS. I can’t believe there’s a company that actually manufactures this crap.Since it didn’t take us long to assemble it, that means it didn’t take us long to become disappointed. You would think something that weighs 104 pounds would be sturdy, right? Wrong. Not only that, you can easily sway the cabinet (once it’s assembled) left or right, meaning it is not sturdy at all. If we had kids, we would’ve either tried to return it or put it in the fire pit. That’s how bad it is.Oh, if you’re not good with anything other than pictorial directions, you’ll be screwed. No one within the company that designs this product thought it would be pertinent to actually label the shelves, so you’re on your own on figuring out which shelf goes where. It gets better….Another big engineering flaw: the cabinet doors that open and close are so heavy that you have to anchor it to the wall because as soon as you open the doors, it tilts forward. If you have small children that like to climb stuff, do NOT purchase this product. This is the first piece of furniture we’ve had to anchor in our home and we have 2 huge hutches that we have no worries with. Ridiculous. After we followed the directions, the end product showed outside doors that didn’t line up—the right door is higher than the left one. The only way to fix this is to re-drill more holes in one of the doors which would be a total pain. Here’s another flaw: after all of this, the shelf supports (that you can move up and down so you can place the shelf) are PLASTIC…not metal. This means if one of them breaks, you’re SOL or you need to go to your local hardware store and hope they have the same size shelf support.BOTTOM LINE: if you’re placing this cabinet somewhere where it doesn’t matter what it looks like (garage, laundry room, attic), you'll be fine. But if you’re looking for a piece of furniture that has competent directions, strong, with doors that should align, then you’re going to be disappointed. I will never buy anything from this company again. Lesson learned.

Not a happy customer
The cabinet lasted a month before it fell off the wall and damaged my equipment. I followed directions, used the correct mounting screws and mounted into wall studs. The problem is the mounting boards on the back of cabinet. They are made out of particle board. The weight of the cabinet broke the particle board in half, as you can see from photos. Not a happy customer.

Perfect Wardrobe Closet!
My husband and I shared a closet for the past four years and I was looking for something to keep my clothes in as we were running out of space. I put this together myself with only a screwdriver in about an hour. Getting the doors aligned is the hardest part of assembly but I love the way it turned out! I also added two command hooks to the door for my belts.

Very glad I took a chance on this one!
I dislike purchasing items that I can't examine for myself, but this cabinet is truly worth it.Very nice appearance: beveled doors, and the clean, semi-gloss white brightens up my kitchen. The cabinet is sturdy, and roomier than I thought it would be. Although I didn't find it necessary, I liked that the materials are already included in case the purchaser wishes to anchor the cabinet to the wall against which it will stand.I'm a little old lady, and was apprehensive about assembling it by myself, but the instructions were clear with every step illustrated, and it went together quickly and tightly. The only difficulty I had was getting the package from the front porch into the kitchen: it was around seven feet long, and VERY HEAVY, partly because it was so well protected from potential damage in transit. I had the help of a small dolly, but a couple of healthy grandsons would have been nice, too.

So far so good!
Like other reviews have said this is a solid broom closet and it does have a very sleek modern look. Assembly was easy without help. I did not put in any shelves as I needed it exclusively for tall items which would not have fit otherwise.

Wish I could give it a better rating even at this price.
Though easy to assemble (for me anyway as I can build a house) the instructions may be sparse for some people. The surface laminate is extremely thin and fragile - any thinner, it would be transparent.Parts fitting is poor in some locations (see photos)Some of the supplied nails have missing heads and should be more of them for a proper backing.Biggest problem for this cabinet is that is has no feet so it cannot be adjusted for floors that are not perfectly level.Tha cabinet will flex on an uneven floor and may make adjusting the doors difficult.Even worse, if any water comes in contact with the bottom edges that have no covering, the press-wood will immediately absorb it and swell, destroying the cabinet.Though the package arrived with no external damage, the internal buffers were severely deformed.Did leave some minor damage in the cabinet parts.Could really use better packaging design.I am only using this as storage in a laundry room but would not install it in my living quarters.

This is garbage. Do not buy.
Firstly, I did not expect this to be a high quality product based on the price. However, I didn’t expect it to be this bad. The product was damaged inside the box; dented and scratched. The design is horrible. Probably the worst designed particle board thing I’ve put together. It comes with large, heavy shelves, but with these tiny plastic shelve holders. There’s no way this thing will last. The finish is garbage and scratches easily. It’s structurally unsound. I have no faith that it will support the few items I plan to keep in it. I do not recommend this for anyone.

Ok cabinet but some issues
For our Laundry room reno, I purchased the 32" upper and was quite happy so I ordered base cabinets. When I received the 32" base along with a 16" mate cabinet I was disappointed. The counter top was slightly chipped near the top edge and the edge banding looked poorly done, it's marred with little back scratches and there's glue that I'm going to try and clean up. There are NO backs with these cabinets. I had to grab a sheet of white laminate at Windsor Plywood and attach it because I don't want stuff hitting the back walls. The kicker is the upper cabinet came with the backing....so Prepac why not be consistent? And why not include the mounting screws already and save me a trip to the store? Stuff like this drives me mad. Also I wish the side screws were countersunk as they do stick out a ways. On the plus side it went together fairly easy (I had a helper which made it quicker) and the handles are nice.

not impressed
This cabinet would be good for a laundry room to hold fabric softener that’s about it the main brace on the back is particleboard I had it mounted in my garage to store my aerosol spray paint cans etc. light Weight items and the back brace cracked it was literally hanging off my garage wall I replaced the brace that’s made of particle board with a piece of pine seems to be OK but for $200 I should not have to do that not impressed

What else can I ask for!
I read all the reviews before purchasing. Nervous because some mentioned damage and misalignment. Took the chance, ordered it and I am pleasantly surprised. The unit I ordered didn’t have any misalignment issues. Some edges had scuffs, not too bad. I looked at corner cabinets everywhere and knew that Home Depot sells this brand and this particular furniture too, except at a higher price. We country folk don’t get to visit a Home Depot very often, so I had to buy it from Amazon. For a week or so, I was worried about the shipping process. What if it’s damaged? Finally it arrived today. The box was intact and clean. Nothing was damaged or missing. I smelled more wood than glue, which seemed like a good sign.Already assembled. Took about an hour. Really happy. I would suggest anyone interested in purchasing furniture online have a more realistic expectation. What’s the minimum wage these days? In Ontario, it’s $15 per hour. This corner cabinet is priced at $185, less than two days’ work for a minimum wage worker. If you happen to have any luck and make a salary about $45,000 a year, it costs less than one day’s work. Once it’s manufactured, probably in China, it has to be shipped to somewhere in North America. Imagine how little we’re paying for all the material, labour, and shipping. Unless of course you think the Chinese don’t deserve a dignified wage and a safe environment where they’re treated humanely. If that’s the case, think about the delivery guy that will have to carry this big heavy box to his truck, drive around all day in the ice and snow, carry it all the way to your doorstep. You didn’t pay for this service. It’s all included in the purchasing price. You might argue that you usually tip delivery people, but that’s not required. Certainly not expected. For $185, I have no complaints. Thank you China, for making this so we who can’t always afford handmade maple/oak furniture still have an option; thank you Amazon, for making this available so we people living really far out here can enjoy the same product and service as if we live in big urban centres; thank you UPS for delivering it, although to the wrong address and my husband had to carry home a box heavier than me in an awkward shape. Life’s good. I’m grateful.
