It is simple to use and it's very accurate gives you exact location so far I am super happy but I dunno know battery life how long it will last seance I just got it yesterday over all I will definitely recommend

Are you the kind of person who misplaces things frequently? These devices are good for in-house location of items, but won't work in a noisy environment. The beep is just too quiet.I first placed one of these inside my computer bag in a secure pocket, because I didn't want to bother with it again. When I made it beep, I just couldn't hear it very well. So I moved it to an outside pocket, which I also infrequently use. Still too quiet. Finally, I hung it from one of the outside zippers using a key ring. I can hear it, now, but it's still not quite loud enough.The one I put on my key ring lost connection after one day. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall it after resetting to factory defaults. A drawback of the Apple "Find My" app is that it cannot uninstall something it cannot find. Once force-unistalled from the app, it couldn't be found again, so I had to perform a factory reset on the tag.The instructions are not very clear, but they are adequate. I didn't need them for initial set up, but I did need them for the factory reset procedure. There are different beep tones for different functions, like turn on, turn off, and reset, but nowhere do they tell you which tone is which. Maybe my "not found" device was actually turned off. Who knows?These units come with a battery (CR2032) and a tool for opening the device to replace it; it has one of those pull tabs, so you don't need to open it to activate the battery initially. One warning: The battery doesn't fit into the battery area too well, as it tends to sit ON the connection point instead of BESIDE the connection like it is designed to do. Luckily, the provided tool can be used to pull the connector away slightly to ensure the connector isn't damaged by a mis-installed battery.The unit isn't hard to open, but as it has multiple connection points, I was concerned the first time I opened it that I might be damaging the case. It also snaps back together fairly easily, as long as the battery and cover are aligned/installed properly.For the price, I am happy with these. I plan to put on one each set of car keys, and I may end up putting one on my TV remote control. These are 1.5 inches (37cm) in diameter, so airtag (1.26 inches/ 32mm) holders/accessories WILL NOT FIT. I suggest you get some key rings and maybe small carabiners if you want to hang these from anything.I travel a lot, so I'll put one inside a checked bag my next flight. I expect it to be mostly worthless, as there is no internet connectivity. They are supposed to work with the "Find My" services, but my device wasn't seen or reported to a nearby friend's iphone when I reported it lost in my Find My app.These devices are good for finding things you lose around your house. I have not been able to get them to work for remotely lost items. Over all, for this price point, I give them three stars - Find My not working and quiet beep being the two lost stars.

I wasn’t expecting it to be working like high end items. But to my surprise it is serving the purpose. Telling me exact location of the object to which it is attached. Recommended

I bought this Smart Tag two months ago, and while it initially impressed me with how easily it paired with my iPhone and worked seamlessly, my experience quickly went downhill. After just two months, the battery has already started showing low, which is extremely disappointing. The seller claims the battery lasts for a year, but that is completely false based on my experience. Having to replace the battery this soon is frustrating and not what I expected from this product. I would not recommend buying this, as it doesn’t live up to its promises.
