Reliable and Easy-to-Use Digital Temperature Controller
This digital temperature controller is extremely easy to program and provides precise temperature control within 1/10 of a degree, just as advertised. I use it to regulate the temperature in an elevator room, keeping the hydraulic fluid within a stable 75-85°F range. Setting it up is straightforward—I simply set the low limit to 75°F and the high limit to 85°F. When the temperature falls below 75°F, the heater automatically turns on, and when it exceeds 85°F, the heater shuts off. It has functioned flawlessly every time. The LED display is bright white against a black background, making it easy to read. One amusing detail is that one of the buttons is labeled "Fun" instead of "Run" due to what seems like a misprint. The manual even instructs users to press the "Fun" button to start the program, which gave me a chuckle. However, this minor labeling error doesn’t affect the functionality of the controller at all. While I can’t yet speak to its long-term durability, I’m very satisfied with this purchase so far.

Easy to calibrate against a known Thermometer
My analog BUNN VP17-1 thermostat has a wide hysteresis and was overshooting and boiling water creating a mess between batches of coffee. @ $50+ dollars I decided to rewire and use an external thermostat. I fit the provide probe with a food grade silicone hose and submerged 255mm into the thermal tank reservoir. Works great and let's me know what is happening inside. Currently overshooting target by 1 degree but cools onto target before next pot is brewed, I suspect the old analog thermostat did worse. Quite happy with a solution 1/3rd of OEM digital feedback allows me to set different Temps based of what style of coffee I am roasting. Of note I could still plug in another appliance below without compromise. Very nice clean installation. Very nice to have a visual indication the temp is the perfect brew temp!

Controller for large comercial fridge
Temperature controller in my yacht club's comercial refrigerator failed and a replacement would have cost $600 or more and taken several weeks to order. Our club Mgr was ready to replace the entire fridge for $6000 but I found this temp controller on Amazon for $20 with next day delivery. Extremely easy to program! I wasn't ready to trust the 1800 watt rating of a $20 controller in a cycling compressor motor load with inrush currents on starting so I wired the controller output thru a solid state relay. Works great! If the relay fails, I can easily swap it with a higher rated relay.

Good Price, and Remote Temperature Probe is better than the Little socket Thermal Switches
I wanted a thermal switch to run a 1500 watt oil filled radiator in my unheated cellar to keep pipes from freezing. I tried the little yellow cube units with a built in thermal switch and outlet, but I learned that they do no work consistently with high current devices - the current warms them up so they turn off even though the ambient temperature is still low. This unit didn’t cost that much more, has a nice digital readout, and lets you set both the on and off temperatures. I have been using it for about a month to control the 1500 watt heater, and have not had any problems yet -it works fine, and there is no sign of overheating or scorching that other buyers have complained of. I have verified the on and off temperatures with a separate temperature senor.

Unsafe and Not Reliable
Worked great for 2 months - then came in to an office at 102 degrees inside due to not shutting off the power. Do not rely on this - dangerous.

No problem with this
Works like it should.

It Works
Having the wire to measure we the temp away from the actual heating or cooling unit is great to have. Just wish the wire was a little longer

Well made product. Easy to use.
I am using this to control a mini-fridge. The fridge does not have a built in thermostat and would freeze the contents if the ambient temperature was too low (it is used in an unheated garage). I drilled a hole in the mini-fridge so that I could pass the sensor into the fridge.Super easy to set the temperature.
