It works but not always first time
I bought this tyre pressure gauge to replace my trusty old one from a well known high street car spares chain. In comparison it does feel very plasticky and not as robust. The display is clear and it does seem accurate but the main problem is getting an air tight seal when pushing it on to the valve. It normally takes at least a couple of attempts by which time more air has escaped and you have to pump the tyre up again. There are only a few degrees of angle available to get a pressure reading which is especially difficult on a motorcycle. It works, but is a bit of a faff.

Worked once, never again
When this product came I was ok with what I got. With the price, you get what you pay for. It wasn’t massively high quality but as long as it did what I needed it to do then I was ok with it.It was easy to use, just one button that you press and that turns it on and changes the setting - you can see the settings on the little screen. Every time you pressed the button, the connector at the top would flash blue and the LED screen would also light up blue.I tried it out on my front left tyre - came up as something like 31.5 PSI which was expected so I assumed that it was accurate. I then went to try it on the back left tyre and it came up as LOW. The tyre wasn’t flat by any means so I tried it again to get the same result. I then tried It on the back right but every time I tried to press the button it would say LOW. At that point I thought I was using it wrong or something or that my tyres were low. So I went to an air compressor at my nearest ASDA and tried it. All of the tyres were ok and definitely not flat. They were all over 30PSI. I then went back the next day to try again and I got the same result - LOW - every time. A couple of days later (today) I tried it again in hopes that it would work just so I knew that it did work. This time it would not even turn on. I quickly scanned the leaflet that came with it just to see if it had any information to help me. However, there was no mention of the word LOW in the booklet. On the other hand, it said that If it wouldn’t turn on, try taking the back off (screws) and replacing the battery. At this point, I wasn’t happy because I’d only used this product once properly and the rest said LOW - I should not have to replace the batteries after one use. I then realised that maybe it said LOW on the screen because the batteries were telling me that it was LOW. So I decided that I would try and change the batteries and give It one more go. I got the screw driver and tried to unscrew the little screws on the back of the gauge. Unfortunately, either the screws had been used before or they were really low quality because they would not come undone. The screw driver wasn’t able to latch itself on to the screws to turn it and it would just slip.As a result of these problems, I have requested a refund and will be returning the item back to Amazon. I do not recommend buying this product. Spend more money and get a better quality one.

Easy to use and good illumination
Whilst it is easy to use and has good illumination my one arrived with a dead CR2032 battery. To replace the batteries (1 CR2032 and 3 AG13 batteries) you need to unscrew two small Phillips screws, one of these was hard to extract and felt as though the screwdriver was slipping, and separate the two halves of the unit. When doing this the push button and the LED for the light became dislodged and was a nuisance to try and re-insert to enable the halves to be rejoined. If I was looking for another pressure gauge of this type I think I would look for one where the batteries are accessed through a panel rather than dismantling the whole unit.Update - AstroAI have reached out to me and offered a compressor as a replacement which I have accepted and just received so I have increased the rating to four as a result of this customer service. I still have reservations about the need to unscrew the back panel to replace the batteries but time will tell how often that needs to be done.
