*** EDITED REVIEW ***After contacting their customer support, I was promptly sent an apology and a replacement chain. I carefully inspected the new chain and there are no suck links, no rollers that appear to be out of tolerance. Chain is working perfectly on my bike now.*** INITIAL REVIEW ***The chain had a stuck link due to the roller being too big on one of the segments. Lots of variation in roller size makes some links wobbly and others stuck. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

I needed a new chain and did not want to pay $70 at this time. I decided on this chain based on the reviews and cost. It has worked flawlessly so far. Easy to install with the included masterlink and shifting is nice and crisp again.

My chain was some how stretched/worn when I checked it with my chain ware tool. before my first use. Not sure how that's possible. Should have been new. But still usable. But not sure how long the life span will be on it. (UPDATE) Good news is the company has messaged me with out me even contacting them, they saw my review and immediately contacted me to resolve. Very very awesome to see in this day and age, thanks VG sports.

These are my favorite for making bike chain bracelets. They’re lightweight, they don’t rust, and I love the purple-blue-green-yellow color. Haven’t figured out a clasp mechanism for taking them on and off. I just use a bike chain tool to put them on, and the same or bolt cutters to remove them. They’re a pain to take off, but that’s probably good if you’re actually using it on a bicycle. I think the package says they’re rated at like 2000 lbs (in newtons). All together pretty, rust-proof, and durable product.

So this chain looks cool but it didn’t last a season. I put it on in April and now it’s late August. Keep in mind I’m very much a clean my ride after every ride and I also check my wear on my chain. Everything was great until it broke mid ride.

I thought it would look cool (and save weight) to have hollow pins on my road bike, but when I took off my old chain (stock shimano) and held them together I noticed this one was a little heavier, even after the extra links were removed. Also when installing it, I noticed that it has quite a bit more flex, both side-to-side and rotationally, than my previous chain. It does seem to shift into the intended gear, but up-shifts seem to "clunk" a little bit and it's not my imagination because I put the old chain back on and it was definitely quieter.So, given that this costs more than a basic KMC 10sp chain, and almost as much as an Ultegra chain, I consider it overpriced for what you get. I will go back to KMC when this wears out.I would say the only reason to get VG is if you like the fancy colors that other brands don't offer. If you just want a cheap Ali-Express-brand chain, then get one of the $8 ones
