Blessings: arr. Phillip Keveren The Phillip Keveren Series Piano Solo

Just some background, I play piano for a pretty conservative church and usually like to stay within traditional blue psalter hymnal songs (great is thy faithfullness, it is well, amazing grace, etc etc)...but recently I've begun to branch out more with some contemporary songs and I LOVE this book. I have used almost every single song in this book for preludes, offertories, and postludes. The majority of the songs have good lyrics if you look them up so I believe they are fitting even if you are used to more traditional hymns. The songs are also pretty, so the arrangements don't need to much help to make them sound better but Phillip Keveren does a wonderful job. Already had someone in my church ask me for the name/title of the book so she could buy it as well!

This book has excellent arrangements of mostly fairly current songs, and every piece included in this book is extremely relevant and just beautiful.

A very nice praise and worship solo book. More difficult than some of Phillip Keveren's similarly leveled books, so might be difficult for intermediate players to sightread, but a lovely book all the same.
