Curious Purchase - Nice
I decided to try this Vietnamese coffee out of curiosity, and I’m glad I did! The aroma is amazing. I ground the beans at home, though I think I made the grind a little too coarse, but the result was still great. I brewed it using pour-over, and it came out very nicely. The coffee has a light roast flavor, which is perfect if you prefer something not too strong. Overall, a lovely and smooth cup of coffee!

Delicious coffee - specialty from SE Asia!
I first tried civet coffee in Bali and it was so good I got hooked. Super expensive in general due to the time it takes to produce. In the U.S., I hadn’t found a brand that I liked and then saw this on Amazon and thought why not check it out.Kopi Luwak coffee captures the taste of SE Asia coffee in your cup! Delicious and unique flavors derived from the incredibly special civets, try for a fun twist on the regular cup of joe. Comes In whole beans so you can grind to suit your style coffee. This is made in Vietnam so it’s not necessarily the same as the one I had in Bali but it’s pretty good for the price.

Still has bitter aftertaste
This still had a slightly bitter aftertaste. A really nice arabica roast has less. I also didn't know when I bought it that civets are not treated well as part of the process.

Nutty ending that I didn't care for otherwise ok
So I tried this product for fun. It's flavor does not justify it's price to me. It is very smooth but it has an end note that is nutty and almost of Hazel nuts.

Yummy Weasel Poop Coffee!
Since I saw the movie "Bucket List" I've always wondered what the coffee was like. Did it taste better than most coffee? Was it the best coffee ever or just the scarcest? Just how selective are those little civets? In case you are unfamiliar, kopi luwak coffee is made from beans collected on hillsides from the scat of little ferret-like animals called civets. The civets eat the pulpy cherry part of the coffee plant, often swallowing the beans, which don't digest. Collecting the droppings and washing them for roasting elsewhere.I finally pulled the trigger before Christmas. It may not be head and shoulders better than any coffee I've ever had, but it sure is good. It has a nutty, earthy flavor and is very low in acidity. I have to say, my family and I enjoyed our first taste of "weasel poop coffee."
