GE Pierson 52" Brushed Nickel LED Indoor Ceiling Fan with SkyPlug Technology for Instant Plug and Play Mounting

DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE ELEGANT LOOK! I install this product on 5/18/18. Used a couple of minutes because the weather is cold. On 5/20/18 only the light turn on and the fan refuses to turn on. I am extremely disappointed. The garbage is going back to the seller! I TOTALLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE PLEASE!!!

This unit is nothing less than spectacular. The plug and play portion is a great idea, and works well. It took about an hour to install, which was not bad at all for the first time with this methodology. If I have to do it again, it'll be a half hour job. This unit is absolutely quiet, no humming and such. There is only one glitch, and that is the dimming feature for the LED is not very good. In effect, the light has two modes: On and Off. The dimming feature does not seem to make much difference between full bright and "dim". From a cost/benefit analysis, this unit is a WINNER!!!

Fan looks good, matches pictures fairly accurately. So the “easy” install, not so fast. I had an electrician install 2 GE fans (44” and 52” models), a hunter 52” fan, and a minka 44” fan. He had all the standard install fans up in 40 minutes. Each GE fan took an hour. With the 52” one giving a lot of trouble. I’d recommend Minka, pay the money and get a quality easy install fan. Also the GE remote feels cheap and not responsive. Again, they look nice amd quite motor so 3 stars, install and remote r misses

I bought two identical fans. One works and the second is defective so now I have to uninstall it and return it! Aargh!!!!

Nearly perfect! I've installed many of the these fans over the years, and the balancing act required to hold a 10 pound motor at the top of a ladder while hooking up the wires, well, it was daunting. But this thing is engineered really well: you mount a little plate, push the wires in, turn a screw and the rest of it pops together with a bunch of screws. Looks great, light is really bright (you can adjust it up and down by pushing a button on the remote) and it works quietly and efficiently. Would have given it 5 stars, but the little screws holding the wires in place were hard to turn at first - they had to be loosed with a screwdriver before mounting the plate. Otherwise, an excellent product.

If I were rating the fan only, I would give it 5 stars. However, the remote control device failed within 2-weeks of installation. Amazon replaced the remote, but the new one failed in just over 2-years.

I bought six of these fans. These are sleek and whisper quiet. My electrician put them in and he said they are easy and very well built!

Great fan! It's so quiet and the light is bright. It wasn't as easy to install as I thought it would be with the "plug in" feature. The plug in was easy but it was the installation prior to that wasn't so easy. My husband finally got it up and we love the look. I was pleased to see it had 4 speed options. The remote is basic but does the job.
