Looks nice, works great, great quality/durability and portable! Super easy to set up and use. A little noisy but not enough to bother us. Starts making ice so quickly! I was worried it wouldn't make enough for our family of five because it's not very big but it makes the ice so fast that it hasn't been a problem. I will probably start storing it in bags just to have extra for family gatherings. I purchased this to have softer ice to make smoothies for my husband. Our 3 teenagers love having the "good ice" for drinks and keep the water filled - I rarely have to add any. Wish there was a better place to store the scoop but that's just me being extra.

I was skeptical about buying this unit but it has proved to be a great ice maker. I got it 5 months ago and it is still working well. I followed the directions on the set up to the letter, and the next day the ice started flowing. We ran it at least 8 hours a day for 7 or so days to build up extra ice. It works better than the ice maker in our very expensive refrigerator. Ice is soft, no taste and I can fill the ice maker in the refrigerator and it will dispense just fine. Love the capacity too. I can make enough ice in one day to last a week for 5 ice loving people. Yes there is sound when the ice drops but its not loud, not that I sleep in the kitchen, but it wouldn't keep me up if i did! Yes, the ice melts if you don't bag it up after the basket is full, but it's not a hassle and really, what ice doesn't melt? Great product! Great size. Low noise.

The unit is very easy to clean due to the removable lid and self clean cycle. This is a major improvement from my previous countertop unit. It's a little noisy, but pretty much on-par with every other countertop unit I've ever been around.The ice it makes is nice. The are small cubes around the same size as commercial nugget ice. However, they are more dense and less flaky than true nugget ice. They are still chewable and make great drinks, but if you're going to be disappointed if it's not exactly "Sonic ice" or Scottsman, then you should be aware of this. This is my first home nugget machine so I have nothing else to compare on this scale, only the commercial machines.Overall I feel like I got a good deal for the price paid and plan to keep it.

2 stars due to lastibg only 1 year. Bought this Euhomy nugget ice maker in Feb. 2024 as a replacement for an opal. At 1/3 the price it seemed like a good deal. Worked great for 1 year: good ice (bin size is half of the opal ... Smaller than we prefer), speed of making ice was good, want noisy, easy to use. We used only distilled water in it. Still did regular cleaning including vinegar.At the end of Feb 2025 it has stopped making ice. We can run the clean cycle but that's it.Not getting another of this brand.

Yes! Perfect pellet ice, delivered as promised! I purchased this last June (2024) and have used it religiously weekly. Some reviews said it was too loud, but I don't find it to be too loud. Dump two bottles of water in and in an hour you have a good amount of ice to use in your bevy(d). This is the small, Sonic style, GOOD ICE too! I recently bought a craft ice refrigerator but I love this small ice so much that I won't get rid of the machine. For the $, it's a great investment and it doesn't take up too much counter space.

I am a chronic ice eater. This is my third countertop ice maker in 12 years of using them 24/7. I haven't bought this brand before but they all seem the same to me.I tried to include pictures of everything I'd like to know. The last picture is a side by side of the average size portable ice maker.When I received it, I thought I'd have to send it back. I was afraid it wouldn't fit underneath my upper cabinets. Once I started making ice, I noticed the cubes are about a half inch longer than the smaller ice maker.I usually fill up a 64 ounce cup of ice (which is about the amount of ice the smaller ice maker basket holds). I didn't realize how often I was refilling the water reservoir in the smaller ice maker until I started using this one. It holds a lot of water. Since the basket is bigger, I will fill up my cup and turn off the ice maker leaving the other 64+ ounces of ice to slowly melt, making it perfect soft, crunchy ice. Once I refill my cup, I start the ice maker again.Pros:Bigger basketBigger water reservoirEasy to release water plugConsThe cons are the same with most countertop ice makers. The ice sticks together when it starts to melt. The noise level is about the same. The ice scoop isn't very big or sturdy.Overall, I'd recommend it.
