It is very, very difficult trying to find a low carbohydrate/less sugary version of brown sauce and although this is nowhere near a low carb option, for the small amounts I have at any one time it's a good option.The taste is excellent and not as sweet as some of those sold in supermarkets where the sweetness overpowers the flavour, there is an enjoyable sharpness to the flavour here but it isn't vinegary and I like that it has a more natural ingredient list in comparison to the usual ones. Therefore, it's not entirely like the brown sauce many of us grew up with, but a nicer evolution of one.In the absence of a proper low carb/low sugar brown sauce this is the best alternative I have found. Yes, I'd like to see a version of this made with way less - or no - added sugar and something like stevia as a sweetener but for a smaller company I know this would probably be way too niche. So I shall continue to use this sparingly on my bacon!

Pricey sauce that’s more of a chutney than a traditional brown sauce. A lovely flavour but expensive for what it is.

Lovely fruity flavour, I bought this as I’m coeliac and HP has wheat and barley.

This is not a brown sauce, its nothing like.It's a bland, very sweet, lumpy, thick puree without the 'bite' that brown sauce has.Expensive waste of money.

Loved it but way too expensive.I'm Coeliac and have to be very careful what I eat and had trouble finding a brown sauce I can have.Would always buy again but with postage it was over £7.

The delivery was prompt and the sauce is delicious - the best we have tasted for years.
