Q: I just received the box and I was wondering what the threaded bushing was for on the closure? There is no nut or anything that goes with it.

Hi, the box was originally a cable box, although I am using it for a 12V 22AH battery. The cable companies would string cables end-end and put a terminator (75Ohm) at the end of the cable line. People would steal cable-service by undoing the terminator and adding cable into their homes. So, the cable companies came up with a terminator that had a lock, requiring a special gadget to unlock. The idea for this box is that you can use one of those same cable terminator locks to lock the box. We have options: the box has a separate hole where a 1/4-20 1/2" nut+bolt will keep it closed. Q: Do the cord entrance slots have a gasket?

Yes. The slots in the bottom for the wires have a piece of rubber with slits to accommodate wires. Not necessarily water tight, but they are on the bottom and keep stuff out.

Q: Can this support flexible 1/2" liquid tight connections in some secure fashion?

off hand I would say NO, this would not work. It is open at the bottom and is not Rigid... However, that doesn't mean that you could not drill the side out that you wanted to have the connector terminate too.. It just really is not meant for that per se.

Q: Where is the internal mounting hardware available?

Just use some screws to set it.. Brick use masonry, wood use wood screws
