Was skeptical of this when we first saw it but decided to give it a shot. Ticks are a BIG nuisance where we live and every little bit helps. We use this everyday to brush ourselves and our dogs with. It does work. We brush with back and forth motions and any loose ticks are picked up and stuck to the mitt left to be crushed away. Highly recommend it. It most likely wouldnt work for long haired dogs due to the long fur but works great on humans and short haired dogs. So easy to use. Our dogs look forward to getting brushed with this now. Great for traveling. Not for embedded ticks.

I was skeptical of this product because some reviews mentioned that it was “useless,” but I was desperate to try anything that could reduce the amount of deer ticks hitching a ride on my dog and into my home.I frequently walk trails with my dog in tick-heavy areas. He has a very deep red coat. Seeing any ticks on him with the naked eye is impossible.Today was particularly warm, so after walking the trail, I decided to give this product a try. My dog is a Poodle with hair instead of fur, so I used the “grabbing” motion (as recommended per the instructions) across his entire body. I gasped as the ticks appeared on the mit! I effortlessly removed five tiny deer ticks from him!People may think this is overpriced, but the peace of mind and added protection it provides are beyond worth it. The mit shape will fit any hand well and makes the removal process effortless. Get it. It works!Pro tip: I found the whole throwing of the glove into the bag and into the dryer to kill the ticks a bit complicated, as I didn’t want to continue to use the glove on my dog with active ticks crawling on it.Before using the glove, set aside a small container or cup with some rubbing alcohol in it. Once a tick appears on the glove, grab it with your free hand (or tweezers), then dip those fingers (or tweezers) into the alcohol and release the tick in the liquid. The alcohol will paralyze the tick so it won’t hold onto your fingers/tweezers, and it will kill the tick fairly quickly. When done, flush the ticks and save the cup/container for future use!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:View the people on shark Tank, have a daughter that lives where many ticks are around she has 7 Large dogs, bought her 2 mitts to try she has not got the results that was claim by the Shark Tank people. ?????Functionality:Easy to use!!

Removed a couple of ticks after yard work which I found to be a benefit but also picks up small bits of yard debris that made it more difficult to locate the ticks on the mitt but overall, a handy way to get rid of those troublesome ticks.

TLDR - DON'T HESITATE, you need Tick Mitts!We just moved from Los Angeles (where we had virtually no ticks) to the Hudson Valley where there are SO MANY TICKS. We have two large dogs and I have been so worried about them bringing ticks into the house. They take tick medication but the ticks need to bite for that to kill them. When my husband and I found ticks crawling on us we immediately bought the tick mitt. I was a bit skeptical but they are AMAZING! We did full tick checks on both of our dogs when they came in from a hike and we didn't find any. We then used the mitt all over their bodies and we were shocked to find three VERY tiny ticks attached to the mitt. We definitely wouldn't have seen them otherwise. We use them every time they come inside and feel so much safer. Definitely a must have for tick season!!

Doesn’t work well for my dogs type of hair (chocolate lab) as it basically just acts as a desheder and not its intended purpose. Give it a shot if you have a different type of dog, maybe one with moreso fur than hair.

We are so excited to have this easy to use tool to protect us from ticks. Went on a hike without and a tick came home with us SO this now comes with us for hikes. I also love the pink color and soft material doesn’t bother my sensitive pup.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been impressed with the tick mitt. Tried it out the first day we had it when my brother-in-law returned from the prairie/woods. Rubbed it on his legs/arms, and got about 4 or 5 right there! Mainly use it on our dog. He loves the feel of it, which is great, because it allows us to work on him without a struggle.
