Beautifully manufactured, a really robust item that is going to last a lifetime; it’s easy to use & easy to clean, isn’t too big, & is so good I bought another one for my parents. Very happy with my purchase!

The media could not be loaded. If you have an espresso machine with portafilter you will know the frustration of when the grounds go cold and set like concrete. You then either have to repeatedly hit the portafilter to try and dislodge the coffee grounds/ pick and make lots of noise or dig it out with a spoon or other device. This makes it a one tap easy process with next to no noise.I got the medium size and it fits perfectly on the window sill in the kitchen. It's all stainless steel with rubber feet, a rubber liner and a rubber bash bar. So it reduces noise really well. When you do have a few pucks in the box it reduces the sound even more. I'm guessing from echo or vibration when knocked.It's really sturdy and comes apart easily for cleaning, just lift the bar and the tray comes away completely, then empty and clean in the sink.This is one of those things that makes good coffee making soooooo much easier and less frustrating. It seems like just a coffee bin but after you use this for a day or 2 you do not want to be without it.Good quality and value. Highly recommended. solid and robust, all steels, stainless steel container, and coated solid steel outside! Great build and what I can say more? It's not very heavy and just about the right weight, perfect for use.There is a quality rubber bar, easy to hold and minimises the noise for quiet operation. There are 4 rubber feet on the bottom, anti-slide and protecting the surface.Easy to clean, that's very important and large capacity to reduce time. It has become a indispensable part of my coffee routine.

Of course this is designed and sold as an espresso coffee knock box which is great - you can save the coffee grounds and use them in your compost bin or directly on the garden as a fertiliser so none go to waste, but this could also be used in there ways.I've seen similar bins used in cafes, not for coffee grounds but for prepared salad items (sliced tomatoes, cucumbers or lettuce) to make sandwiches. I've also seen similar used for storing utensils, dishwashing paraphernalia and other items.This is a very sturdy, stylish box. Stainless steel inner bin and black powder coated steel outer, it is very easy to clean and very portable - it has rubber anti-slip feet to anchor it in place. It has a professional look that wouldn't be out of place in a boutique cafe as well as a domestic kitchen.At £33.89 (as at 23 October 2023) this isn't cheap, but I think for a coffee aficionado this would be a much appreciated and thoughtful gift.

Nice stylish looking design and that’s about it with the positives I’m afraid .I wanted a knock box for our espresso coffee grinds because I want to be able to use the ground coffee for the garden and other purposes , plus the noise of the other half using the food waste caddy is really annoying at times . So I was really happy when the opportunity came up to review this .Sadly the noise is worse because the stainless steel inner bin rattles if you get a very compacted spent grind. On top of that the design of the full thing sends it flying all over the place .I also think £28.99 at time of review is not good value for money unfortunately

I have almost every espresso gadget there is- except for a knock box! I bit the bullet. This is affordable, and durable. I do appreciate the size because we have a standard espresso machine, a coffee maker and a Nespresso. I use the coffee grounds in my composter so being able to have a bin for the remnants to go into is really nice! The part you knock against is silicone so your portafilter is safe from dings. Espresso machine owner essential!

Had a plastic one prior to this. Things I looked for prior to purchasing this included capacity, material and descrete sizing.The metal is more desirable as it doesn't stain the interior and can be easily washed. The size was good, I drink about one espresso a day the pucks are about 16 g. Lastly the size of the holder is important because I do keep it in on its counter this one does the job for. I have a black mat so it blends in. All in all, good product for coffee drinkers

It’s perfectly sized for many guests. You can drill down the counter to have in integrated. Definitely recommending. The silicone dampens the noise when you knock the coffee out. Very good quality
