Good pad, bulky yet that because of cushiness of comfort
Good sleeping pad. I use in car bed and for padding on a cot for a sleeping porch. Both situations, it adds comfort to otherwise hard surfaces. I get some hot spots side sleeping--but that may have more to do with my big and tall body weight. Fine for back or stomach sleeping. The length here is good for a six footer person. This does not roll up very compactly, but that's because of the density of the foam, which you do want for cushioning comfort, so that's observation not criticism. The fabric one side is comfy texture. The bottom is slick with small rubber dimples to resist it sliding. At each corner there's a small flattish air panel, that let's the air out when compressing for storage. Comes with good storage bag, zippered on one end and with basic shoulder pack type light web straps for carrying. I'd buy again, while do not expect to for some time as seems durable through moderate usage already.

Great value for a comfortable mattress (bulky)
Great quality and very comfortable and convenient. Excellent value with included carrying case (it’s quite heavy and bulky !)

Comfortable and large
It’s not a mattress, but it makes a big difference. I purchased cot size for a cot tent and ability to use it in an suv. I didn’t want to deal with inflating a pad, and the risk of a leak. The trade off is this is far too large for backpacking. Not an issue for me, but may be for you. Since it’s too large for backpacking it’s very plush and I was able to side sleep all night and feel better in the morning. The pillow is useless, but the storage bag has enough space to fit a better pillow.

very nice pad. not for backpacking but good for car or guests
very nice memory foam pad. heavy but well worth it. i go an extra 1 inch foam pad the same size as i was sleeping in back of a minivan. was really pretty comfortable, i got the 30 inch one and glad i did. note; it does not rollup small, so you need a place to put it! it was really hard to roll small enough to clip the straps that come with it. it would be good if the straps were longer and adjustable to cinch it up. I used a rope to tighten as much as i could, then pushed and slipped the straps over the ends as i kept pushing it under the straps. the bag was also kind of hard to get into, but i managed. basically, i am quite happy with it. hope they will change to adjustable straps that can be cinched up. might be easier with 2 people rolling. the cover is nice and soft but seems strong, and the backing also quite heavy duty. a will made product.

Versatile Comfort: From Campsite to Kid Sleepovers!
Versatile Comfort: From Campsite to Kid Sleepovers! We initially bought the GAIALOOP memory foam pad for camping trips, and it didn’t disappoint. It's like sleeping on a cloud while out in the wild—no more rocks jabbing into your back or tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. But let’s be real: this pad's primary role in our house has become "emergency bedroom slumber station" for our kids. They’re getting a bit too big to squeeze into our bed, but they still want to camp out in our room. This mattress is the perfect solution—it’s thick enough to be comfy, even on our hard floors, and it rolls up easily when they’re done. The foam is supportive yet soft, and it’s surprisingly durable given how often it gets dragged around by little hands. If you’re looking for something great for camping and practical for everyday "family life chaos," this is the one. Just be warned: the kids may end up using it more than you!

Durable yet comfortable and clean
I have been very happy with the mat! I have had it long enough now to give a fair review. I have used it in every season of the year.I travel for work and regularly use camping facilities. I have always had makeshift pads and air mattresses until I bought this gaialoop. I selected the twin size because it easily fits in the SUV. I slept so well on it.It is a bit bulky for hiking although I do put it in the carry bag and walk a little ways with it on my back I would not intend to "pack it" a long distance. The straps are rugged and reliable. I also like the pillow it comes with.Just bought a second one for a gift. The material really is comfortable I bought a fitted sheet for the winter though because it makes a nice temperature directly on the sleeper.

This Is Not As Thick And Comfortable As It Looks
I bought this to use as an additional mattress to put on top of a mattress that came with a camping cot. Even with the two mattresses, I could still feel the metal bars of the camping cot. This mattress looks thick and comfortable, but after using it, it's just mediocre. It's not awful and not great which is why it received a rating of three.
