Good product - but not for filming on a Mountain Bike.
I bought this piece of equipment in order to use it on my MTB trips. Although it is a well made, robust product, I would not recommend it for mountain biking due to the angle on which it is intended to be used. While being seated on the bicycle you can barely film above the handlebars (see image attached), thus rendering the product inappropriate for this kind of use. The issue was fixed though by inverting the up-down axis joint, lowering the filming position but allowing me to film above the handlebars - love the fact that I could make this adjustment.Off-topic - Also, I would not recommend expedited shipping if you are from Romania. The product arrived in time in Romania but the local postal service added 5 days of delay and taxed (VAT - 24%) not only for the value of the product but for the cost of the transport too (which was around 60$).

It does the job described by the seller.
I do like it, it is a great piece of equipment for keeping your hands free as well as your cellphone safe. So far, I have used it daily for almost three months and is performing pretty well. It does the job described by the seller. Although, I still have my concerns about the handler performance as almost all is plastic. I will keep you up to date.

Super for Video/Photo Monitoring of Honey Bee Hives!
This camera harness does everything I wanted. I was looking for a way to use my iPhone 10 to monitor the condition of my honey bee hives. Having a photographic record of each frame in the hive helps me better evaluate the hive's overall health and progress. Paired with a remote shutter (I used a Camkix) the Readyaction let me video opening the hive and then photographing individual frames of bees and what they were doing there. Here are things I liked about this harness.1. It rotates up and down to show the angle I like. The hinge can also be reversed, thus allowing a180º of shooting angles.2. Because it rotates up and down, I can also turn it downward to check what I just shot.3. In my situation, I found keeping the angle somewhat downward allows me to preview what the lens sees so as to compose my photos before snapping a picture.3. The horizontal straps adjust to my girth and can be detached on either side for easy entry and exit.4. The chest plate is fairly large so as to provide stability against my body.5. All straps stretch.6. It firmly holds my iPhone 10. I don't worry about it falling out.7. It comes with a bicycle handlebar mount which I might use someday just for fun.If I wanted to find fault, I would point to the problem with all chest mounts. That being they don't always point where your head is looking. To do a good job, the photographer must keep in mind the angle of the camera and where it is pointing. If I had a head mount I would not have this problem, but as a counter point, then I would also not have the opportunity to see/preview what I've shot.It was so much fun to share my videos and pictures with others. I've tried other ways to video/photograph a hive and, though possible, it takes a TON more effort to capture images without this harness. For those of you reading this who don't have honey bees, imagine trying to take a picture with an iPhone, while lifting with both hands a frame full of honey bees (with bare hands) .Bottom line, this ReadyAction sport mount is just what I need. I'm 'super' (a bee keeper term) pleased I bought it.

I can’t get a video of what I want
I wanted it to record the terrain of my mountain biking. But sitting on a mountain bike your chest is pointed to the ground and that doesn’t do a thing. Who needs to see the ground

Great, but...
Great, solid built. You can feel it will last a long time. However, if you are looking to film your biking adventures, expect to watch your handlebar and your front tire when you get home. My height may have something to do with it; I'm not sure. As a hint, I am 5'10".

Terrific product,
I bought this to record my paragliding trip over the Swiss Alps. Received in a week's time (regular shipping) and seller included a dash attachment as well as a handwritten note thanking me for the purchase.Pros:- Mount is very sturdy with heavy-duty screws and solid plastic- Attaches to a digital camera or a smartphone (with included attachment)- Shoulder strap webbing doesn't stretch, mount is very sturdy once cinched down (see comment below)Cons:- Amazon description isn't clear what you can attach. I found this video helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4gcVYV0j6A- Straps seemed a little small over my vest and winter jacket. I'm not a big guy but it could be an issue since the straps don't stretch (you wouldn't want them to).I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a phone or camera body mount. At 8000 feet I never worried about my camera coming off and I got an amazing video out of the experience.

Who Needs An Expensive GoPro?
I've kept my old phone rather than recycling it, and it works perfectly for taking videos on my motorcycle with this ReadyAction Chest Mount. The phone has no service, but has very good video quality. I don't have to worry about something happening to my new phone. The clamp mount to hold your phone is a good design and it appears it would be nearly impossible for your phone to fall out, so if you have only one phone don't worry. A little experimentation with adjustments up / down / right / left and you'll know how to set it up every time. It works really, really well!
