Why aren't all Ace Bandages made like this?
The hook & Loop idea is the obvious next step in design; I don't understand why the "clips" idea is even used at all anymore. Those clips that all the other brands employ are so easy to lose! And if you step on them, which I always inevitably do, it smashes the hooks flat, rendering them useless. But with this "Velcro" design, everything is all one piece. Nothing to lose. The fabric is plenty stretchy and tough. The hooks & Loop hold it securely in place. This is the only type bandage I use anymore at my dojo—and trust me, we go through a ton of them! One little trick I recommend after using these for years is this: Place a strip of duct tape or something at the innermost end of the bandage so that the Velcro doesn't grab the cloth at the core of the bandage while in storage. Without tape, the hooks fray the fabric over the years. So the tape prevents the hooks from digging in until you're ready to apply the bandage. This cuts the wear and tear on the fabric in half, allowing the bandage to last twice as long. Even without the tape trick, you'll get years of constant use out of it.Highly recommended!

Cutting corners doesn't work for those who need daily compressive bandages ..
1st, I don't ever give 2 starts for an item as I find that most items on Amazon have been weeded out ..The issues1) The Velcro loops are poorly sewn on the wrap2) The Velcro is not square at the ends3) The Velcro on 2 of th 4 wraps overhangs the sides or ends and has to be trimmed4) The length of the wraps are not standard they are short by a lot as compared to the previous wraps I have purchased5) The wrap material is sub standard and does not have the range of elasticity that the previous wraps yield and as such they do not provide a full days worth of compression as the tissue compresses (and the fluid is compressed out)I will never buy these again

Best Ace bandage ever
Be advised, when you put this on start with the velco side up and wrap on top of it then the other velcro end will face down to attach on top. Love how comfortable they are and you can adjust just how tight it is easily. They apparently will eventually lose it's elasticity according to the manufacturer and need replacing but they are not expensive and they are washable (mesh bag). You definitely get your monies worth.Update: After using this wrap for a while, I found the Velcro strip is very hard and has sharp pointed edges which can irritate and or poke your skin during movement with the pointed corner and that hurts. I have no idea why this velcro is so hard of a strip because I've bought Velcro before and it's not hard at all it comes in a roll. If you are suffering from skin breakdown even the rippled edges of the wrap can irritate your skin too but most everything else will too.

Works for Knee wrap
I guess I dislike so many requests for reviews. :-) I just used one of the wraps for the first time this morning. I had not seen this type of material until a doctor used a six-inch wide piece on a knee I injured and which he suggested was a meniscus injury and I should give it time to see if it is would settle down without further treatment. Last week I went to a specialist after an MRI revealed a fracture just above the knee cap; as well as the meniscus problem and arthritis. I will be 87 shortly and was told surgery for repair was not advisable. So, at my age, he said, I have two options: Live with it; or get a new knee! At my age . . . ? So, we will see if it will settle down to a functional knee for now. This smaller size wrap seems to work and gives a little reminder to be careful! For now! Thanks

Easy for my wife to wrap my leg and get ...
Everything about the IVY ace bandages seems well done to fit my needs. Easy for my wife to wrap my leg and get it right the first time. I need to wrap both legs because of edema swelling and leakage. The firmness keeps the blood pressure and circulation moving to control my issues. Thanks for a great product.Rev. Robert H. Reid

So-So
The bandages are very cool to wear and the "velcro" is very strong. That said..they wrinkle terribly upon first use and with more use the ends stretch out and the ve[cro closure pokes thru and is uncomfortable on the skin. Don't expect long usage on each bandage if worn daily. I will not order these again.

These bandages work great! Wrapped my sons wrist from a football injury
These bandages work great! Wrapped my sons wrist from a football injury, the Velcro allows from increased or decreased pressure. Having(4) to work with allows for rotation! Think ahead and order these for your family's medical kit. If you don't have one, start one!

Nice ace bandages
I broke my foot and have a removable cast that i don't sleep in. That is where these come in. I wrap my foot up at night to keep it from moving too much and making myself feel like it is more secure. Once you figure out the Velcro on both ends and how it works it is great. They stay in place even when moving around in your sleep.

Comfortable and Effective
Soft and strong with a wonderful stretch that allows you to adjust the tension. Great coverage and very comfortable. The velco fasteners on either end are head and shoulders better than pins or clips. Great product!
