If you want Scotch Brand Tape, (and for this dispenser, that's all that you can find), then this is what you get. High Quality Tape, High Price. You get what you pay for here. As there are no alternatives that I could find, I have to give this my highest rating. As for value... I think Scotch Brand Tapes are a little overpriced. But, that is my opinion, and has nothing to do with the tape. Works well in the Scotch Brand dispenser, and these were the least expensive I could find. If you have this dispenser, I'd buy this tape, and as such, I'd purchase these again.

Good tape.

Nice, sticky and does just what I need it to do. Unless you are using a Sharpie Pen, you cannot mark on it, but that's just fine with me since I don't need to write on it I especially like that it is a full 1 inch wide which helps when I have a notice that I need to be sure stays on a package.I'll continue to buy this as long as it stays an affordable price.

Gift wrapping was very easy and it lasted a long time

I bought these for repairing library books and adhearing the labels etc. onto new books, it is a lot thinner than the other tape we had from 3M, I thought it would be the same. For general tape it is great, for library books I wouldn't purchase it again.

This tape works great in my new electric tape dispenser, which didn't do as well with 1-inch core rolls of magic transparent tape. It's sturdy cellophane tape in a practical width. As expected, it's a bit shiny, but the up side is thick tape with strong adhesive.The dispenser is START International ZCM0800-WT Electric Tape Dispenser from Amazon.

This isn’t magic tape. This is clear and works fine as all Scotch products usually do.

I bought this product to use for work. I have no complaints about it.
