A heartfelt gift. Purchased for my mothers partner (of 15 years) so some questions about my earlier life don’t apply but a wonderful opportunity to share a life story.

Purchase for my parents ahead of a holiday they were going on. They found the process of answering the questions really cathartic and it brought back lots of memories. Something we will hold onto for ever. Perhaps more space for bigger handwriting

Bought this as a gift for my Dad. Out the blue I lost my mum 3 days into her retirement. The phrase being robbed doesn’t even cut it… there are so many things I / you wish you would have asked had we have known. And kick myself for thinking you have loads of time to ask or talk about this and that…. Trust me you dont. So this is a gift I got my dad. I love him and he ovens me but we dont talk.This is a perfect gift to give to ask those questions you never would do or would think to ask so when the time does come there are some answers there to make life that little bit easier to deal with.

Great sentimental gift

The book is cute with thoughtful questions. However, there are some questions relating to mothers e.g how did you meet, describe a special day with mum (5 in total like this). I've had to remove these due to being non contact with my mother which was easily done with an craft knife. I'm happy I looked through or else it would have been an uncomfortable gift.

Gave this to my dad, he laughed and said he loved it and is going to take his time to fill it in for me and give me it as a gift when it’s complete. Only negatives being that it included questions to do with my mam, my parents had an ugly breakup when I was a child so have told him to leave those questions out, these questions are in all these books, so I would have preferred an optional alternative question instead. However the book itself is of good quality and I look forward to getting it back as I think it’s a beautiful keepsake of memories and information I probably never knew about him and is something you can read time and time again when it comes to that time and something you can pass onto younger generations.
