Narrow but adjustable
In my experience over the past few weeks of trying to get arch support slippers to fit me, this Vionic brand of slippers are narrow fitting. This is fine for me as I have narowish, shallow, bony feet. However, a pair of full slippers I ordered from them the other week I've had to send back. They were lovely and comfortable on my left foot, however, ever since I was pregnant my right foot swells a little bit on top and the top of the slipper started to dig in and become painful. So I decided to go for adjustable slippers to be able to ease the right fastening width, but didn't want ugly old fashioned ones. The difficulty with that was that most seemed for people with wider feet and diabetics. I read the reviews carefully and these Vionic ones seemed as they might be okay and indeed they are. I've just started wearing them., However, as yet I'm finding the inner soles a bit hard, they could have done with a bit more soft foam on them. Hopefully, this will get better over time. The downside with this brand is that they are expensive.Update: Worn these for a few weeks now and the insoles are still very hard and have started hurting my right instep. Come on Vionic, with the amount that you charge for your slippers you could afford to put a bit more soft foam over the arches.

More than a slipper
I waited to review these slippers to be more informative. I have fairly flat feet with high arches. The high arch on these slippers took some getting used to though, my feet were accustomed to wearing crocs around the house. At times they almost hurt to wear, my high arches were lazy and dropping low, but I stuck with them and I’m glad I did. They know feel soooo comfy and supportive and the softest velour feels so luxurious. It’s good to know that my feet are aligned as they should be keeping my ankles straight and thus helping my gait stay true and strong. The velour is warm but not sweaty. The Velcro is the best part though. I can adjust the fit for barefoot or thick or thin socks. This means the slipper fits perfectly, never feels too tight or loose enough to fall/slip off. No need to contort your toes to keep slippers in situ. If you have one foot considerably ‘plumper’ than the other it won’t matter with these slippers as you can adjust for the perfect fit.I initially thought these were expensive for simple slippers but they’re not simple and they’re more than a slipper. They are innovative and ergonomic and luxurious. They are more of a house shoe than a slipper and as such look like they’ll last for a very long time. I love them. Thank you Vionic.

Brilliant slippers for summer
These are great for wearing around the house when it’s too hot for regular slippers. They are roomy and very supportive but still feel soft and luxurious. The added bonus is being able to adjust the part that goes over the foot so if you have a high instep you can make sure they don’t crush your foot.

Shedding the faux fur
These were worn for an about 12 days because they were bought as a Christmas present. After a few days of wear I noticed bits of fluff on my light coloured carpets and when I checked the slippers I noticed that lots of the fluff was loose and there was long strands coming away in places. For the price of them they should be good top quality but sadly they weren’t. I did get a full refund though.
