Wonderful Slicer
Wonderful, compact, affordable, and efficient slicer. It is so easy to clean, and so safe to use. I make homemade Tuscan bread, and it slices it beautifully! When I'm done it is easy to clean as the pieces come off readily, and I have a neat pile of bread crumbs. This is an added bonus! It stores nicely in a small space.

Works just fine, multiple pieces to clean
We've used this slicer three times for meat and some tomatoes. Works just fine as advertised. Quiet, appears to be pretty safe, makes nice even slices. This is not an appliance for just casual use. We have minimal storage space and did not want to leave it out on a counter. It folds nicely and allows for easy storage. For a few slices off of a piece of turkey, use a sharp knife! If you want to slice a whole tri-tip like I just did, use this slicer. Just recognize that there are multiple pieces to clean and be prepared to spend a few minutes doing that cleaning. The trade-off for small and easily stored is maybe slightly harder to clean!

Easy and Safe
The slicer is simple and intuitive to use, we tried slicing pork belly and a steak for stirfry. The steak turned out nice and even. The pork belly is a bit too thin to start with so it could only get a few thin slices before it is too thin to continue. Threads of meat might fall into the slit between the two platforms when cutting the last bit of it and the meat gets too small.Cleaning is straightforward as most components could be disassembled, the plastic tray catching the sliced meat covers the platform and prevents it from getting greasy. The small brush that comes with it is also handy. We mainly will use it to slice meat but in the future, we might also try it on vegetables or bread.

Not sharp
We bought this to cut a big prosciutto we got from Lidl, 14 lb , just to slice it and store it probably use once a year, price was good for portable slicer however it was impossible to cut thin slices, maybe frozen meat would be better when is stiff but for us was just not working, meat was crumbling, squashing , the blade is not sharp to get any meat thin sliced, we tried bread, it was just destroying it, making crumbs, returned it.Positive thing , cute look and folds nicely to store .

Works well
I purchased to replace my 40 year old foldable slicer that finally gave up and died I used it once so far to slice a prime rib for French dip sandwiches it did well it was easy to disassemble and clean I am not the type of person that uses a slicer all the time I use it 3 to 4 times a year mainly meats no cheeses if this is what you want it for it will do the job well if you are slicer happy and want to use it allot I would look at something else and not foldable. I would purchase this item again and was very satisfied for my use

Do not buy
The product looked good when I took t out of the box but that was my last good impression. The user's guide is nearly useless, I looked at the pictures and figured out how to take it apart almost by accident. The blade can not be easily moved or replaced without totally removing the fold-out tray and laying the part with the blade on its back. It is very difficult to clean well and has some inaccessible nooks and crannies where food can get into that cannot be cleaned. I was cutting ham to use in making roll-up "sandwiches" since I need to keep my wheat consumption to a minimum. I found that I could cut the meat either too thick or too thin, the thickness markings on the adjustment dial are meaningless. I feel like I wasted my money on this product. The only thing that woked well were the suction cups which worked well to hold the slicing machine firmly.

not a satisfactory experience
The only thing that I really liked is that I can fold it up and store it on a shelf in the basement. The blade was not flush when it was supposed to be closed all the way. I don't think that the blade was sufficiently sharp. After I cut a few slices, there was a lot of shredded pieces on the bottom. It was hard to push the meat against the blade and the slicer was not long enough to accommodate the meat. I couldn't pull the piece that the meat was resting on, back far enough to start the slice and slice the full length of the roastI it was also too low. I had to slice a piece of the roast off in order to push it back and forth. In order to clean the slicer, it had to be completely disassembled. The whole operation was so very unsatisfactory. I know that I will never use it again.

A little loud but perfect
The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble and good vanue for money. It sticks to the flat surface and cuts very well. I just hope it was a bit quite. I wanted to slice home made bread initially and width wise it is tricky but you can slide it a bit up and in on the initial slices and use the guard when half way thought cutting. I am happy with it so far.
