I have tried several bubble guns and I do not care for this type. Yes it generates a lot of bubbles, but you have to keep dipping it in bubble juice. My experience is that kids like to run around with a bubble guns (let's be honest, so do adults) and this gun does not allow for that. Each shower of bubbles only lasts for a few seconds and then you have to dip it again.This is not the only bubble maker that works like this, so this is not an issue with the product. If you plan to sit in one place and shoot bubbles, it works, but even at that I think there are better choices. The gun itself is well made and easy to get running. It is very giftable and maybe the fact that it runs out of bubbles quickly is a benefit for adults that don't want to have to deal with kids and bubbles.

The bubble gun comes with a rechargeable battery, and I think the battery was defective, but it could have been the gun because the thing just didn't work at all. The company contacted me and immediately sent me another gun at no charge. The second one worked perfectly. There are no directions that come with it, so you need to just look at the box. The pictures on the box show you how to use it. You fill a tray with bubble solution and dip the gun in it every time you want to make bubbles. So, you dip the gun in the tray, point it where you want, and then squeeze the trigger. When I first tried it, I got a lot of individual bubbles all coming out at the same time and it was really cool. I went inside to get my grandson and when I tried it again, the bubbles came out differently. This time is was more like a snake that was made out of bubbles. Still very cool though. I'm not sure which I liked better. Either way, it was a lot of fun and my grandson had a ball with it. He is two and a half and he loves bubbles. This makes it very easy to provide him with lots of them. Of course, it blows through bubble solution pretty fast, but hey, the more bubbles you make, the more solution you are going to use. That's pretty understandable. The unit does come with a lot of bubble solution though. So, now that I have had a chance to actually test this thing, I love it. If you order one and it doesn't work, fear not. The company will take good care of you. Outstanding customer service. Five stars for the product and the customer service.

The bubbles produced are very small but there are a multitude, frequent dipping in the soap tray to produce bubbles is required.Overall, this is an entertaining device but I do wish the bubbles it produced where a bit more uniform and less “foamy”.

If you want a bubble machine gun that produces lots of bubbles, this will work for you. However, after having it for some time, I have come to the conclusion this bubble machine will probably last until the end of the summer. The construction on it good, and for me it's easy to use, but though this comes with a rechargeable battery, it doesn't last long and in my opinion, the fan is a little weak.

I got this for my 2-1/2 year old grandnephew -- I always try to get him cool stuff, and I think I do a reasonable job, but... this reaction put my entire prior history to shame. The kid went absolutely wild with glee as soon as it was in his hand, and it was all he would play with for the rest of the afternoon. If his parents are to be believed, it remains a hit several weeks later, too. (which amounts to a considerable fraction of the kid's life so far, after all, so... WIN!) So if you want to be a hero, this seems to be an excellent gift choice.

I bought this for my kids for something interesting to take on vacation. Upon opening the box, there were lots of teal parts that fell out -- originally I thought there was some assembly required but upon further inspection, I noticed that they were broken off of the bubble gun. It was unclear just how they got broken as the box was not damaged and they were right in the middle of the gun -- despite that, it worked as intended and shut a bunch of bubbles out. The kit includes a number of bubble packets and two bottles -- it was unclear to me why and what the difference was. This also has a rechargeable battery included.
