Robust and beautifully crafted at a great price
I'm really pleased with these and arrived within 3 working days. Stamped AISI 316 which is molybdenum-based marine grade stainless steel they claim a break-load of 160 kg, which I could well believe. The clips are beautifully sprung - strong and smooth movement, with lipped ends for extra strength - and what looks like a robust hinge pin. Exactly what I need for clipping things into my canoe and built to last forever, unlike the aluminium and galvanised iron equivalents that are not that much cheaper. I've just ordered more as they'll make the perfect small but thoughtful gift when visiting sailing/outdoor types. "I was hoping for a bouquet of flowers, but all he brought was a pouch of 5 carabiners!"

Nice Quality with a minor reservation.
Nice quality carabinas but with a slight issue regarding the finish. Where the movable piece ends it is quite sharp on the sides as is the section on the carabina body where the movable piece latches into it. Needs a little fettling with a small file and then all OK. Also, doesn't seem to be a 'one-off' issue as I bought fifteen of them and they are all the same. Admittedly when the caribana is closed the sharpness shouldn't cause a problem but whilst clipping onto things the sharp edges are exposed. Overall though very pleased with the quality and price.

Bought to hang boxes of orchids on wires from bars on our roof in West Africa, on the coast, so a hot, very humid environment, The steel itself doesn't rust but does discolour in contact with the zinc plated garden wire we use, which does eventually rust. Clips themselves are well made, spring shut, strong, and as described. Tough environment, and these stand up to it well. I'd buy again.

Too small for my home gym attachments. But that was my fault as I didn't check the size. Still kept it as they look strong enough and might come in handy for something else in future.

They look pretty strong and well made although I will never put them to extreme use. I can recommend these Carabiners.
