I was advised to get an automatic feeder for my cat as I have been travelling a lot and also to keep him from begging me for food even when I am home. He's learned the machine brings the food not me.This unit was easy to program and worked well right out of the box. I found I had to watch it dump food a couple times to understand how many "units" of food to deliver to the cat, but this was pretty easy.My cat is large but on a diet and this holds at least 2 weeks of food. I like the battery backup so that you can unplug it to move it or clean it without losing the program. This is money very well spent.

My cat was overeating terribly for a long time. I was putting a full bowl of food down and going on my way. I didn't realize when I got him that he loves to eat. So the vet said to only feed him his daily allowance for his weight. That turned out to be 3/4 cup a day. Now I had a cat begging me all day long for food. I figured he'd stop after a while and get used to it, but no. I tried to give him a little in the morning and when I got home from work I'd give him the rest. So, I finally broke down and bought him this feeder and it's perfect! I feed him every 4 hours, starting at 4am and he gets a little all day long. He didn't like waiting at first but a few weeks later, he is doing good and will know when it's about to drop. He doesn't act panicked when there's no food. Absolute winner in my book!

I’ve been using the IMIPAW Automatic Cat Feeder for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my pet care routine. The setup was quick and straightforward—even if you’re not tech-savvy, programming the feeding schedule is intuitive. I appreciate the option to schedule up to 4 meals a day and adjust the portion sizes, which helps keep my cat’s eating habits consistent.The 3L storage is more than enough for several days of food, and the stainless steel bowl is a nice touch—it’s easy to clean and feels more hygienic than plastic. The dual power system (USB and battery backup) gives me peace of mind in case of power outages.That said, I do have a couple of gripes. I wish it allowed for more than four feedings a day, especially since I have a grazer rather than a meal-eater. Also, my curious cat has figured out how to nudge the feeder trying to get extra food—thankfully, the design prevents most spills, but it’s something to keep an eye on.Despite those small issues, the feeder has worked reliably and consistently. It’s a great value for the price and makes my life a lot easier, especially when I’m away for the day or sleeping in.

This feeder has been such a Boone at my home. As I was able to provide my cats, my furbabies, Boo, Clementine, and Asher with a sizable, quality, programmable food dispenser for days when I’m needed outside the home or needing to focus within my home office setup. Also, due to its travel-ability, I’ve been able to take their setup on the road should my mother-in-law need to watch my cats while I’m out of my home. This cat feeder is all about ease of use, sturdiness, and stability—-all at a great price point!

Great feeder. Very easy to set up. It worked well for the first six weeks but then stopped working. Tried all the trouble shooting techniques and suggestions from seller and customer service. Seller and customer service very responsive and easy to work with. Looking forward to getting my replacement feeder and hope it continues to work for a long time.This is a company that stands behind their product and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought this feeder to keep my cat from eating a whole bowl of dry food at one time. I like that you can set multiple meals on it with different portion sizes. It was easy to set up. I feed my cat Meow Mix (I know it's not the best food but it's what she will eat) and the food fits in this feeder and dispenses fine. It holds a good amount of food too so far we've been using it for almost a week and the container is only half empty.

This feeder is exactly as advertised. We have programmed it to feed our furry feline friend for 4 small meals throughout the day and night. It will take her some time to get used to not being fed by humans, but as far as the feeder goes, it is exactly what we needed it for. I also appreciate the battery backup feature in case our power goes out.The only negative I would give it, and it's being nit-picky, is the size of the meal is slightly confusing. It took us a little time to figure out serving sizes to how much we wanted our cat to consume.

For the price it's nice - large clear food storage so you can see the level, multiple timers, food bowl that can be detached and cleaned... But the one thing I'm missing is having a set of timers that you can turn and off as your schedule changes. I do one set during the week and a different set for the weekend. With this feeder I have to completely delete/change each timer setting. Fortunately it's easy to do, but still a nuisance. With my other (more expensive) feeder there's six timers that you can turn on and off without having to start over each time. Also a small thing but there isn't a way to add a "greeting" so that your cat knows the food is getting ready to drop. But if you don't change your schedule much, it's a pretty great inexpensive feeder.
