It worked!
Having stayed with relatives in a hard water area I thought that I noticed something different about my (usually box dyed) hair after washing it. However, it was only a few days later when my daughter blurted out that my hair had a green tinge that i realised what had happened to it. Cue much frantic searching online for how to get rid of it. Some of the advice seemed very expensive, I just don’t have the money to get a hairdresser to sort it out. Then I saw these individual sachets and thought I would give them a go as they worked out cheaply. I bought 2 sachets, just in case, because I have long hair.I wet my hair thoroughly and poured the powdery crystals into my hand, adding a little bit of water I rubbed my hands together to form a paste like consistency, then I mixed in more water so that it was runny enough to be rubbed through my hair. I concentrated mostly on the roots because that was where most of the tinge was as my white roots were starting to come through. I then repeated the process with the other sachet.Because of the texture of the paste it did leave some small blobs in my hair but I wasn’t too worried as I figured it would wash out. The paste has no discernible smell so wasn’t unpleasant to use. I massaged it in for about 5 minutes as recommended. Then I rinsed it thoroughly. It can leave a grainy type texture unless you make sure that you get every bit out.I’d read from others that it made their hair extremely dry so I used a lot of Tigi Head rescue moisture conditioner afterwards and then a final rinse. The end result was that my hair dye had been washed out quite a bit but that’s no big problem as it was only a semi permanent and I can just dye it again, but the green tinge had gone!! I’d been a bit dubious whether it would actually work, but I was delighted with the results. I’d felt so self conscious before I tried the sachets. My hair was also nice and soft, as a result of the conditioner, I assume. Definitely a rescue remedy at a very good price. My relatives have now been asked to get a hard water filter for their shower, lol.

This works!
I rarely leave reviews, but this product is fantastic and truly colour corrects hair bonds which have discoloured due to chlorine or sunscreen. I used two sachets (over two washes) and the pinky/peachy tones were eradicated and the cold tone blonde restored! This will be a holiday essential in future!

Brilliant stuff
I brought this when I had an orange tinge to my ash blonde hair due to hard water.Worked well shame they only sell in sachets, I would buy this in a tub if I could. Is a tad expensive for what it is

This stuff is amazing
This stuff is amazing. My blonde extensions always go pinky orange after a holiday or in the summer due to sun cream rubbing on it. It use this and it literally clarifies my hair to the most stunning clean blonde I can’t even explain how good it is! And leaves your hair looking brand new. Used it for 3/4 years now every few months

Doesn’t make any difference
I have blonde extensions that have turned a little pink due to hard water in my area. I bought 2 sachets as the first time I thought maybe I hadn’t left it in long enough. But after the second time, still no improvement so got a refund. Purple shampoo has helped more than this. And it’s expensive for what it is

Malibu Products
The hard water in my area discolours my hair, makes it very dull and dry. As I have hair extentions in I can notice this even more, therefore I found this product with the aim to try and preserve the life of my extentions. Overall I would say, if you use once a week yes you will notice your hair feeling softer and will lift the colour a shade, however your hair may feel dry after. This was the experience on my hair and may not be the case for everyone using this product. I feel the satchets are expensive, but the quality is more than enough for my long hair so only require 1, however I will continue to use to see if my hair continues to improve colour wise and to determine its full effectiveness. I have now purchased the full set of shampoo and conditioner to make these products part of my routine each week and will see if these work together for a better result.

This is a miracle product!
I was most upset to return from four days in Spain to find that my brand new hair extensions had turned orange/pink. I hadn’t been in the pool or the sea and kept it tied up during the day, so I have no idea what has happened (especially as this has never happened to me with previous extensions or on previous holidays). I almost had a meltdown, thinking I’d need to fork out £200 for new hair. I did a bit of research and found this product recommended online. I ordered via Amazon to get the prime delivery.I have 16 inch nano extensions (three packets, so around 75g of hair). My natural hair is quite fine and highlighted blonde (this has also gone a bit brassy). I ordered two sachets and used both on my hair; mixing with a small amount of water and applying all over. I then clipped my hair up and left the solution on for 10 minutes (after having read the previous reviews). I did experience a bit of discomfort where the solution had got onto my forehead and the nape of my neck, but no red marks appeared. I then rinsed, applied an intensive hair mask for five minutes or so then washed off. I added lots of leave in conditioner to the ends and left to dry for an hour or so before drying with the hair dryer. I used lots of heat protector spray and the result is soft, bright blonde hair extensions again, hurrah! My own hair has lightened up, too.I’ll be investing in more sachets to take on my next holiday, just in case this happens again.

Didn’t remove orange tone from extensions
It made my hair feel nice and clean afterwards but I bought it to remove the orange out of blonde extensions after they became orange in the sun / from suncream, and it didn’t help with that unfortunately
