Is a conditioner needed after use please?

No not at all. Shampoo is brilliant for white dogs.

Will this remove the pink/brown staining on my dogs paws and around her mouth caused by my dogs saliva?

It has removed the staining on my friend's Westie. I have washed her a few times and her fur is white and shiny, but I've also used hydrogen peroxide + milk of magnesia + cornstarch, what helps too. I find the shampoo pretty good and I'm very pleased with the result.

Is this better than the Baby Fresh version for white dogs?

I haven't tried the Baby Fresh version and haven't considered trying another shampoo for my Bichon Frise as this one keeps his coat white and soft with no adverse reaction to his skin! Love it and will be purchasing another soon.

Does the bright white also leave puppies coats shiny and soft?

This shampoo was great for my dog, his coat came up white and shiny and also left it nice and soft
