You will get a closer shave with this than you will with the Gillette SkinGuard.Blades ARE sharp, so you can not and should not push down as hard as you would with the skin guard. If you were skin is pretty clear at the time of shaving, this razor will work well for you.

I was skeptical at first seeing as though I've been using the bump fighter razor for over a decade. I noticed that the razor was not serated but it is extremely sharp. It only takes one gentle glide and you are done. You will not have to pass over the same area twice with this razor like with the bump fighter razor. I knicked myself up quite a bit the first time that I used it because I was used to the dullness of the bump fighter razor for so many years. I'm glad that the bump fighter got discontinued because I never would have known about this blade.

It does not irritate my skin and create the bumps

The blades are extremely sharp and the caps on the razors are incredibly difficult to take off without cutting yourself. I cut my thumb just trying to take the cap off. Additionally, even though the blades are sharp, they do not provide a smooth and easy shave that lasts.

Forget the reviews that say they don't like it for they are used to using the traditional disposable razor. More than likely I was looking for a safety razor to wet shave when I'm traveling because you can't take a safety razor through security. If that is what you're looking for this is exceptional this plastic razor shaves like an expensive metal safety razor that would cost about $50 at least. If you use good shaving soap or cream with a brush to apply and know how to use a safety razor this is the one for you. Trust me. Very good product. I will probably buy their metal razor because they're plastic was exceptional and I have sensitive skin. It's two dollars a razor so it's not cheap I prefer if they're at least half of that price but I will purchase them because I like to wet shave in the shower even when I'm traveling and I shave my face and my head
