OTC OT3100DLX Autoboss Global Diagnostic Scan Tools

I'm an Automotive Technician, and basically I'm in love with the field I am in. I had a scantool before and all it did was bring up DTCs with definition and datastream and that was only with certain vehicles (not Asian vehicles). I bought this VDC expecting allot more and it's more than I expected. This VDC is the best i have ever came across, especially in the country I currently reside in. The amount of features is excellent. Every few days updates are being released and this is even more excellent since you get at least 1 year free updates. This is the original SPX product and not a clone. The accessories are excellent, rugged, and comes in the updated storage case not the previous storage case used (the one shown in the picture). updating is quick and easy. Yet every new update is larger than the previous version because it incorporates info of that previous version. This tool is Boss!!!I'm not going to contend against the first reviewer because I was not an owner of this VDC at that time, so he might of really experienced some software compatibility issues. But ever since I bought mines It hasn't let me down, especially with the constant update releases. Just this mourning I checked and found 5 new update releases. The tool is very capable; reading and erasing all DTCs, Viewing data-stream of ALL systems and sensors numerically or in waveform view (can show up to 2 wave forms at a time), ecu systems/sensors relearning capabilities, collaborations, adjustments, Bi-directional control functions, Shows individual sensor data. logging capability, systems and sensors comparisons, Read ECU ID and allot more. This VDC is all I need. It can even check itself to make sure it is in proper working condition. This VDC is great, especially for the price it's being sold at.UPDATE: The unit can also has a learning and comparison mode. This means that the tool can learn the data of a perfectly working vehicle for later references in diagnostics. The comparison mode takes the current data of the similar vehicle and compares it to the learnt data. To me this is really helpful.

this is a very good system ,take the time to learn about all of its functions and you should be more than satisfied . covers alot of cars , strong import and euro . programing and functional testing . i would buy two of these before i bought another brand for twice the price !

rubbish,,this is a waste of money,,the seller deducted $200 from original price when i asked for refund...it gives reading which are wrong on live data,,on everything gives incorrect readings.different to description does not do autoacan..does not do half the the things the description states...rubbish.dont waste your money,,and the seller wont give u full refund as well,so be carefull.

how to update the OTC 3100DLX AutoBoss V30 Deluxe Diagnostic System

In my opinion, that OTC 3100DLX Autoboss Deluxe is contain the hole kind of cars. The main reason for my to get this one is to solve the problem my own cars. One of them which called ENTOURAGE Hyundai is not collected with the kind of Hyundai cars. How could I pass that problem.I already contacted with the dealer a few weeks ago, But till now he does not answer me back.
