Singer Transparent Plastic Class 15J Bobbins, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

Have bought these before, returned customer as they are the proper ones. These are 15j ie they have a slightly rounded top to let the thread pass over easily. Flat topped ones can catch thread and damage machine with drop-in bobbin holders. If you dont believe me do a search for the difference between 15 and 15j there are some very good articles out there. Have tried non-genuine (cheap) before and didnt fit properly. Having been cynical about it for 30+ years now only use genuines for drop-ins.Bet your having trouble finding these in shops! My experience says look no further.

These bobbins for my Singer are normally very difficult to get hold of so these were great value for money

I waited a long time for these to arrive to use in my new Singer sewing machine. Whilst they arrived in a Singer branded packet, I am not sure if they are genuine as they are not individually marked with the singer logo as the ones that came with my machine were. They do work in the machine but do not fit particularly well on the bobbin winder, as if they are sticking, and the stitching is not great. I wish I had bought directly from the Singer shop instead.

Bought some cheaper shuttles (bobbins) that were supposed to fit singer machines, and they seemed ok start with, but then I noticed the shuttle bouncing in the shuttle well and causing the thread to snag and resulted in jamming the machine. As I like the idea of not having to keep re-winding shuttles (bobbins) each you need to change threads I went with they Singer ones. I have used them now on several projects and had no problems at all. Very happy.

Packaging looks genuine but on opening none of the bobbins are embossed with the Singer brand.

Did just what I wanted

Not the quality I was expecting from a Singer product. The box does not close properly and the bobbins seem to be a little inferior compared to the few bobbins that came with my Singer machine - some have sharp edges and they are made from a different plastic.
