Subtle but nice to have difference
These o-rings give the keys that you press a softer touch to them. You are left with the sound and feel of the switch with less of the keycap slam as the switch bottoms out. This leaves the keyboard to feel less vibrationally intense on the fingers, which in turn feel nicer when typing up essays or documents. The sound difference is very minor, but it is audible. The o-rings make it feel more muffled and more like a "thump" than the regular "tock." It's like there is a lower tone to the same bottoming out, and thus ends up being less audible. For the cheap price it offers and ability for you to put it on more than 1 keyboard, or more than 1 o ring per keycap, it's a good nice to have that I would definitely recommend trying out if you sit in front of a keyboard a lot. The features aren't many, but they're subtle and appreciated once you have them. (note they only work on (+) style keycaps. membrane, or logitech's romer-g switches will not work.)

Wasnt so sure, but now I am.
I haven't used orings on a mech keyboard before. I was a bit skeptical, but went for it anyway.I guess its about what you would expect out of such a thing, but here is where it got me:I was testing my keys as i was installing these and I thought, well ok, minimal difference, feels pretty good. It wasnt until i was done installing them, and walked away for a little while. I came back to use my PC and thats when it really hit me. The difference was more noticeable after coming back to actually use for the first time. The cushion is definitely noticeable, Still somewhat firm, but the real difference is the reduction of the "clack" when bottoming the keys out.Using on MX Speed (Silver) and works great. If anyone is wondering, you can double up and still have activation on the MX Speed, but not so much with a triple treatment.

fine! a little bit quieter?
The rings slightly quieted my keyboard, but not a ton. especially at first, they made the keyboard feel "sticky" as I think they weren't all the way into place when I put them on for some reason. I've been using them daily for over a year and they're still holding up well on my keyboard.

Good quality for a good price!
I use it on a Cherry switches mechanical keyboard with RGB.+ enough rings for any keyboard+ Translucent to not lower RGB lighting+ KB is now quieter+ Softer bottom-out bumps+ no interference with KB mechanics on the switchPossible improvement:Add a mounting pipe and removal pick for the rings for common switches. Not having that is not a negative point: It was not promised and it is only a quality-of-use improvement, but it is not "needed" - so, I'm not counting off for not having that. ;-)

Clear era better for RGB keyboards
I used these clear O-Rings to allow the info on the keys to illuminate. For example: The Num keys have numbers at the top and functions at the bottom, i.e. Num 1 key has 1 on top and END at the bottom. The colored ones often block the LED from illuminating the bottom info and may partially block the top.

works great, corsair strafe mk.2
more than enough for a loud mechanical keyboard. the corsair strafe mk.2 is not silent, the cherry mx switch is silent, but the key still slams down and springs back up to make some decent tapping noises. these o rings will stop the tap on the way down, but not up. Improved the sound a lot because pressing the key down made most of the sound.

If you’re into keyboards then I have some opinions for you.
TL;DRCreates a mushy feeling. Shortens travel distance. Does dampen the sound by a small amount. Not worth it for me, but could be for you.I put these o-rings in my keycaps and they do dampen the sound slightly, but they make the feel very mushy. These can change the feeling of pressing a key and they can shorten the travel distance. Shortening travel distance can be a plus or a minus. I wouldn’t be using them since they create this mushy feel. I recommend to go for more premium o-rings from reputable keyboard companies instead.

Simple, effective adjustment for mechanical keyboards
There's not much to write about on these little upgrades. They're very inexpensive and can definitely diminish the sound created by mechanical keys bottoming out. They will NOT remove the clicking in the switch itself. They also do not change the travel of the key, which I have noticed as a comment in other reviews (not necessarily on this item). They raise the key higher than it was initially set on the switch, but do not affect the travel of the switch. It may feel different (totally does), but this isn't a lack of functionality, but a difference in memory. They do let light through without any problem and were very easy to put on with just a quick push. Personally, I moved fastest through the keys by seating them on the keycap stem, then using the force of press getting the key back on the switch to push it into place. No issues at all. Definitely quieter overall.. but not so quiet you can't tell it's a mechanical keyboard.
