Oat Crisp previously known as Oat Krunchies
For anyone who loved Quaker Oat Krunchies, Oat Crisp is the same thing re-branded. Quaker Oat Crisp can be impossible to find in some areas and the pack of seven offered by Amazon represents fantastic value when ordered as part of a Super-Saver Delivery. For those not in the know, Oat Crisps are small, hollow pillows of baked oat flour and wheat bran plus sweetners, raising agent and salt. They are lower in salt and sugar than many other cereals including the so-called diet brands. They have a mild malty flavour and can be eaten without milk as a crisp snack; though they will dry the mouth. As a breakfast cereal they become soft quite quickly when covered with milk, but they are a great way of getting oats and fibre for those who do not like porridge or other heavy cereals. People have been asking about the name change. This was occasioned by Quaker bringing out another cereal which had a significantly higher sugar content and which they decided to call “Oat Crunch”. It did keep its crunchy texture in milk for longer but the cereal did not find favour with the public in the UK and soon vanished from the supermarkets. Oat Krunchies got renamed at the time the other cereal was introduced, in the noughties I think. Possibly after 2010. Unfortunately they still have not given its correct name back........

Remember remember
Feel good as I remember these from my childhood as Oat Crunchiest, and I always loved this cereal. However, this ‘modern’ version seems to be much smaller ‘packets’ which stay hard in milk rather than go soggy. I actually liked the sogginess but these are OK.This cereal, cold milk and some fresh raspberries make a really “feel good” breakfast (or a snack at any time!).Nice to be able to buy the packets in bulk at not a bad price.

This is the best cereal. That is all.
Whether you call it crispies or crunchies, or know it by some continental name, this is the best breakfast cereal in the world. It's a shame that Quaker seem hellbent on taking it out of production by claiming there is no demand by not distributing it widely in the first place.

Oatyliciously good
This is without a doubt one of my favourite breakfast cereals. It doesn't have the sweet crunchiness of crunchy nut cornflakes, but it has a flavour and texture that comes free of the guilt that comes with the honey flavoured breakfast masterpiece's high sugar count. What makes this even better is that you can get it on subscription! It's not normally in my local supermarket so for me this is a huge win...my only issue and the reason it was a 4 instead of a 5 is that it got cancelled this time around. I now have to eat porridge.............

Really good high fibre cereal
Not a new purchase for me - they have a nice flavour and I love the crunch of you do not leave the milk on for too long. These are quite difficult to find in some shops.

Quaker Oat Crisp Original Cereal
My First Batch Confirmed What They Used To Be Called And That Was "OAT CRUNCHES" But These Have Been Reduced In Size Now. I'm Eating Into My Second Delivery And Makes A Big Change From Other Cereals As They Take Me Back Many Years, Once Milk Has Penetrated Them They Still Go Sort Of Rubbery. You can also get them at Sainsbury's & sometimes stored at the top of cabinets as packs of 7s in the Cereal areas if amazon has no stock

Light and Bland... how it should be.
This makes for a great breakfast alongside some fruit. Not too heavy like some cereals, and amazing value in comparison to any brand I've come across online or in-store.
