George Foreman Rapid Grill Series, 4-Serving Removable Plate Electric Indoor Grill and Panini Press, Black, RPGF3601BKX

We've used a Geo. Foreman grill since they first came on the market, even replacing plates a few times. We'd shopped for the new EVolve, but couldn't find a non-red one at all. This one is much flimsier than our two previous models, so I was skeptical. However, having cooked on it now for several weeks, we've found that it cooks much faster, yet just as evenly as our others. The ceramic plates are a big plus, as is the fact that said plates are dishwasher-safe. The new drip tray style stays in place and so far has held all grease--even from bacon--so works better too.

I really love this George Forman grill, I grilled 6 pieces of boneless chicken tenders on this very portable grill 3 times in in a row, with using various chicken seasonings, and boy did my grilled chicken tenders turned out great & delicious. So far I haven't yet use this grill to do steaks or fish, but I'm positively certain that the taste for both will turn out delicious, depending on what type of seasonings that I'll use.Also the temperature control was very easy to set, easy to clean as well, comes with an owners manual, and yes this grill is easy to use.But the easiest way to clean off the grill plates is to use a wet dish rag or a wet paper towel will do, while the grill plates are hot. And yes the grill plates are removable from the grill & dishwasher safe.And this is by far to be the best $50.00 I ever spent for this portable grill to say that I've purchased it used, I like totally got my full money's worth.Thanks Amazon!!!👍👍

This grill is awesome. The plates are removable so it's easy to clean and it preheats in no time. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

This is the best contact grill I've had yet (I've had about 6). This is the first one where I didn't have to flip food and move it around to get even cooking. The temp control is useless, as the only setting worthwhile is MAX. The removable plates clean up nicely in the dishwasher, and the grease catcher that clips into place is very nice. The cooking area is nice and big; it will do 3-4 quarter pound burgers. Overall, I think it's overpriced, but it has features that make it worth the extra cost.

This is a winner for me and my wife. For my wife, because she was wanting a little more meat in her diet and for me because I am NOT your typical male outdoor grill master. For those men or women who like to make a big production of doing the outdoor grill, this wouldn't cut it. I cooked a small steak for her and lobster tail for me in about four minutes and no turning required as of course it cooks on both sides. In addition, after the first use, and following clean-up I realized all I had to do was insert aluminum foil including a cupped space at the bottom and my clean-up chores were done after the cooking.In sum, quick, clean, effortless grilling without the smoke and smell from a charcoal (sorry purists, that is fine for you but not for me and besides the air pollution factor from outdoor grills is a major problem for the environment given how common that is). I placed my grill out on the deck so there was no greasy steam or smell in the house.Lots of people like the whole cooking thing and aren't bothered by the grease, smells, mess so again, this would probably not be of much interest to those kinds of chefs but for me and for anyone who wants to grill anything, from meat to fish, to vegetables, this works great with the least of fuss or time.

This is my second George Foreman grill. I specifically purchased this one because of the removable grill plates, easier to clean, top rack dishwasher safe. Note there is no temperature control, plug it in it's on, light on unit let's you know when unit is hot. No real guidance on how long to cook food, but if you have ever used a contact grill you should have no problem. Just remember to pay attention, it doesn't take long to cook!!!

While the new Rapid Grill is nice with the clip-on fat drip pan, several items are not forthcoming of an improved product...1.) The unit slides on the counter, making it not so easy to open and close with one hand. The older 6 burger sized grills had rubber feet which prevented my old unit from sliding.2.) The mechanism for removing the grill plates is not on the grill, but on the body of the unit itself. It is less safe to remove the plates, as the upper one tends to fall out.3.) The heating element is exposed once the plates are removed. But the plates - being more difficult to remove - do not trap juices or fat from getting into the main section of the heating element, and potentially shorting out the unit or exposing it to corrosion.Update: 4.) There is no method for holding the hot grill plates once they are released from the body, where most of the older units' grill plates have plastic handles for the user to safely remove a hot grill plate without getting burned.6 Month Update - Biggest piece of junk seen. Grease is all over the exposed elements - this is a FIRE HAZARD and should be reported to the Underwriters as a UNSAFE ITEM!!!This is a piss-poor design.

I bought this for my handsome big son . He moved into his own place and the take away shop was a bit too convenient. Happy to say he loves his grill and has become reacquainted with vegetables.

Had a basic George Foreman for years before purchasing this one.It works very well…nice to have temperature control. Great for burgers.Best feature is that the “ plates” are removable to clean.
