Tetrosyl EBG406 Spray Paint Bright Gold

I have used various kinds of spray paints over the years but I keep coming back with this brand because of the vibrant colours and the way it sprays. It hardly ever spits or splatters. But..... prep it first....Make sure you shake the can realky well I do mine for 4 minutes. Make or buy a can shaker for your drill these work great too. Store at room temperature if possible. Or move the paints indoors the night before you intend to use.I have 3D printed 14 large RC Speedboats this last year which are glued together, filled, sanded, filled, sanded, filled, sanded then sanded some more! (Hate that part)I prefer applying thicker 'wet' coats than lots of very thin ones but that's just me. Watch YouTube tutorials. Paint will run if you apply too much too slowly - ANY paint will.Dries in about 12 minutes ready for next coat. I apply 3 coats of primer (sanding each with 600) then apply the base colour. I put 4 coats down. Probably too many but it's just the way I have always done it. The 400ml paint cans lasts very well.Leave to cure for 24 hours preferably indoors. Then apply top clear coat. Note; this paint does not cure to a perfect bright shine. You need a clear coat for that deep polish effect. Varnish is NOT what it used to be as certain chemicals are now banned (Thanks EU). So to get a professional shine/top coat don't waste your money on spray cans or brush varnish, lacquer or gloss coats. You will be bitterly dissatisfied. Buy a 2 part 2K clear coat which is now available in spray cans. Around £25. Expensive but well worth it in the long run. They go a long way too and produce a MUCH better deep hardwaring finish and once it fully cures it will last a very long time. 2K clear coat is expensive but what's the point in buying primer, top coat paint, masking tapes, protective gear, then spending hours sanding only to have a 'sheen' finish and not a glossy 'shine.I hope this has helped some people out. I bought this to paint my door locks and door furniture and Plastic electrical pattice boxs.It really was very easy and effective to use. The silver finish was really great and recoatable in about 10 to 15 minutes. Its rare that I am so pleased with something that could have turned out not so good.You do need to mask the surrounding area to eliminate paint spray on areas you dont want it.I applied three coats although 2 would have probably been ok.I will be finding other things to revive around the house.

I used a whole can to cover some large 3D models and it went a fair way, however because of the way the models had been made the result came out quite streaky - I could give them a second coat to see if the colour evens out, but it’s not worth it for these models

Very good, quick delivery and good value

The product goes on fine, but the colour is very much a creamy off white.

Got bored, ordered paint, made a fake nos bottle out of a fire extinguisher. Had it mounted in the rear window of my car for a while and can’t count the amount of people who asked me if it was real. Great colour, applies really well

Didn’t use it for the reason it bought it for, instead used as a test for stain blocker paint. Worked ok.
