The pots come with everything you need
These went into a squire telecaster I bought they arrived along with capacitors in the bag which other manufacturers don't seem to do I had to drill out bigger holes in the backing plate but that was something which I'd expected but other than that they went straight in and they work well I also changed the selector switch, improved the wiring and put Tex mex pickups in it but for me the experience was worth it and the pots seem far better quality all round to those I replaced

They do the job just like the original parts
As others have noted, the advertisement claims these are made in the USA but as we learn as soon as we unpack, they are made in Taiwan by CTS. Nothing wrong with that last part but it should be noted that they may well be to US Fender spec but are made elsewhere and they do come in a Fender packet which is nice to see.I bought two of these (I already had a spare) and they measured 253.8k and 269.9k which is pretty good as far as I am concerned.Mine came with 22nF capacitors if needed for tone control use. They measured 22.48nF and 21.66nF which is very accurate for small capacitors.Fitting is easy enough once you have removed the scratch plate and I think it best to replace everything in one go so you only have to dismantle once every few years. At the time of writing I am awaiting delivery of the new 5-way switch to replace a faulty one and complete the updates.

Good Quality Potentiometers, Pricey and Beware Tolerance Variations
I bought three of these to load up a standard Fender Stratocaster pickguard recently. They measured 202, 220 and 259 kOhm so quite a wide variation. This is normal with all quality brands of potentiometers (CTS, Alpha, Bourns). Some years ago I bought a quantity (100) of Bourns PDB181-GTR02-254A2 potentiometers from Farnell to obtain some matched pairs at a specific value for my Brian May Red Special build and conversion projects. They all displayed the full range of tolerances from 220 to 270 kOhm that was specified. If you are discerning and like to match up your pots, the only way to do it is the expensive way and take advantage of economies of scale offered by electronic component suppliers such as Farnell and RS Components.

Smooth pot for rewiring a Strat
Smooth, works well, and reasonably priced. A bonus that is comes with a capacitor. Three pots ordered and all were within a 10% tolerance.

Nice pot - but no good for my Tokat Strat.
This is obviously a good quality pot, but the threaded part was too thick to fit the hole in my Tokai Strat's scratchplate and copper plate. I enlarged the hole, but then discovered that the threaded part of the shaft was too short to get the nut and washer on! Some more detailed dimensions on the listing would have helped.

Nice 250K pot
Very nice, you also get a nice vintage style cap if you going to use it as a tone control.I used it as a volume pot and it works fine ...no more crackle on the guitar output anymore.

I use these on all my Fender rewires and they work great. No need to buy more expensive components.

CTS branded pots - each one packaged with a capacitor
Even though advertised as "Fender original" was concerned if they were not some cheap knockoffs. Not the case. These are genuine CTS pots. Got 3 of these and they work as expected. Had to replace old Dimarzio pots in my Strat. All good.
