We’ve been using Corelle dishes for many years—I think they are the best dishes available. I recently inherited a mixed set of the patterns “pansy” and “summer blush” both of which were retired some time ago—but did not come with any lunch plates. The “replacements” are not common and are way too expensive for me—so I decided to order the plain white because I can mix and match to go with my pansy patterns. Although they label the color “winter frost white”—it’s plain white to me.I love Corelle dishes because they are lightweight, a stack of many of them takes little space in the kitchen cabinet, they are dishwasher safe, they can take a beating for many years and still look like new, and they are suitable for a “nice” dinner as well as a “casual” dinner. I think that the company no longer advertises them as “unbreakable”, but in all the years of using various patterns of Corelle dishes, I think maybe one has broken ever. They are simply the best.P.S. the lunch size plates are the perfect size for “light” dinners. We use them for most all meals.UPDATE: Our house has ceramic tile floors and I’ve always said that anything dropped is guaranteed to break. Well tonight I dropped one of these Corelle dishes and....it DID NOT break! I love the light weight of these dishes. They are perfect for my weak wrists & arms/shoulders. Taking much less space in the cupboard is a big plus & they’re almost unbreakable.

I love Corelle dishes because they are simple, look good, match with virtually any other dish pattern and last forever. I've loved their smaller plain white plates and bowls for years, replacing them as needed when one didn't make it through an encounter with the tile floor. I had a need for some good mid-sized plates, something between a dessert/salad plate and a dinner plate. These are perfect! They are just like the old 6.5" plates, but a tad bigger--perfect for lunch or appetizer. I opted for the simple black Brasserie pattern, which matches my existing main set of dishes. I loved these so much, I ordered the appetizer plates in the same pattern. :-)

Decided that I’d like to eliminate as many plastic objects as possible from my kitchen, and decided to go with these plates as they had favorable reviews. Couldn’t be happier. They are a reasonably sized, high quality, and highly aesthetic.

I bought these to use for everyday and family get togethers. I knew they would be lightweight and sturdy and look great also. I ordered the three sizes of plates and the bowls separately instead of in a package deal so I would have what I needed and not end up with items I would never use.

I had to dispose of my 1970’s Corelle Wildflower pattern due to mercury level concerns. I like the plain white plates for every day use and the 8.5” plates are a convenient size. Corelle is the only brand I have ever used for everyday dishes. Extremely durable - I have only broken or chipped a couple of dishes in many years. Arrived in great condition. Great product.

Was looking to replace my 25 yr old Corelle plates--got these. Lightweight, durable, easy to clean

I bought these along with a set of eight place settings and eight pasta dishes. I gave away a set of classy pottery dishes and stored my twelve sets of fine china, and I just use the Corelle. Should have done it sooner! I had shoulder problems and the other dishes felt heavy and even caused pain with all the use they got. These are light and also beautiful. I have new colorful napkins-anything looks good with white! They take less space in the shelves so I had room for a handy shelf of spices.

These smaller plates are the perfect size for snacks and smaller portions. Dishwasher safe and used regularly by my family.

My mother loves this size from Corelle. I could not go wrong with the pricing and quantity I got it for. It’s in the original box even if I got it on Warehouse Deals. She will be happy to get these when she visits me here abroad. What’s not to love?
