Worth it. They go out of their way to get you non expired items and ones that will expire about 4 to 5 months from purchase date . I plan on using these to make bundt cakes. I have used this cake mix before and boy let me tell you its soooooo delicious and moist.

My family loves banana cake and I've been unable to find this cake mix in local grocery stores for some time now. If you don't want to make banana cake from scratch, this is a great option, especially if you make homemade banana cream frosting. The cake was light, moist, delicious, and exactly what I remembered with Duncan Hines cake mixes. Is it expensive to order this cake mix from Amazon? Yes . . . you have to want it that much! I got three at one time..

I am so excited about receiving my banana cake mix because I know for a fact this is going to be very good because I had banana cake mix before in the past and this cake mix is also hard to find in my local grocery stores so to find it on Amazon has me excited and I plan on coming back to buy more... Oh yeah and shipping was right on time

This is not the cake mix pictured. It is Dolly Parton’s southern banana cake mix. Paid a lot of money for something I could have picked up at any supermarket for much much less. Was willing to pay a higher amount because I thought I was getting the cake mix pictured. The worst part is I can’t even return because it is a food item.

This was substituted with Dolly Parton’s Souther banana cake mix. I ordered the Deluxe as pictured. I can get the Dolly Parton at the local store but not the one I ordered. This is non-returnable which I understand. But the two mixes have a different texture. I use this for an easy banana bread: the mix, 2 eggs, 4 mushed up bananas. I add 1 C of walnuts. Put it in a large parchment lined loaf pan. Bake 350 for 50-55 minutes. Super easy and very good but the Deluxe version is a better texture for the recipe.

I believe the overall quality and quantity of this cake mix has declined. However, it is a family fav and impossible to find at local grocery stores. I know I pay too much, but as long as I can get it via AmazonMarketplace, I will just order and pay. Glad Amazon is there in such cases. We love this cake with homemade cream cheese icing!

Not as good as the brand we normally used, but that is no longer available. I would buy again, but the price is just too crazy high!!! This was a one time deal as it was for a special occasion.

You can't go wrong with this cake mix. It 8s good like it is but I do tweak it. I use milk, heavy cream or half & half instead of water, 4 eggs instead of 3, butter instead of oil and I double the amount of butter.With this particular cake mix, I made banana frosting and put finely chopped walnuts in the cake, before baking and around the edges of the frosting.
