Alba Botanica Drink It Up Coconut Milk, Hawaiian Duo Set Shampoo and Conditioner, 12 Ounce Bottle Each

Love, the effect it has on my hair! Keeps it moisturized and very soft.I ordered this brand because I've used their sunscreen before and I loved it, so I thought I would give their shampoo & conditioner a go. I was not disappointed.Some things to note are that the smell is phenomenal when you are in the shower, smells very creamy, refreshing and natural. You can definitely pick up the coconut scent. However, this smell does not last when your hair dries. My hair doesn't smell bad or good, it just doesn't smell like much. If you are someone that is used to using brands like Garner Fruits or similar products that have a powerful scent-- then this might be an adjustment.Another thing that was different for me is the shampoo does not produce a lot of suds when you are in the shower -- the shampoo texture is very thin and like the bottle says -- your hair really does "Drink It Up"!Like some one else noted in the reviews -- the bottle sizes are not too big. If you have ever used OGX shampoos, they are about the same size. These bottles are 12 fl oz.Overall, I really love this shampoo and conditioner combination because my hair is moisturized and HEALTHY and that's all that really matters to me. I don't need an overwhelming scent or lots of suds, etc. As long as my hair stays long, strong and healthy then I am a happy girl. I've also noticed my hair is WAY less tangled. This is probably the softest my hair has ever felt. Highly recommend!

I'm half Filipino & my hair's color treated & a combo of mainly thick strands & less thin ones, down to my waist & a lot of it. I started out using Organic Paraben free shampoo a yr or two ago. The 1st Organic shampoo/cond. was (Renpure Originals Argan Oil which made my hair really staticky, especially during the summer. I switched to Renpure Originals, Brazillian Keratin Re-Hydrating & it weighted my hair down). This is my 3rd Organic Shampoo set ever. This is the only Shampoo & Conditioner I have ever used, that makes the lower half feel just like the top of my hair. The bottles have the small flip top with the small hole so you won't waste waste product. The shampoo is a clear liquid & lathers like (Paul Mitchel's Awapuhi) if you're familiar with it. I have to shampoo twice the get a rich lather. The conditioner is thick & a little goes a long way. I use close about a tsp conditioner let it sit for 2 min. I use about a tbs shampoo. The conditioner is what I'm really in love with, it's like silky & evenly distributes evenly. I like the scent but the results are what really impresses me. My hair is super silky, soft, not weighted down, no static & easier to comb. I never use a brush & I always air dry. I've also notice way less split ends!, my hair used to be coarse like a horse tail before I started using regular pruducts. I will say that Paraben free organic shampoo/cond. have improved the texture of my hair in general. Coconut oil penetrates the hair shaft which helps a lot in the texture.I definitely don't plan on switching to a different shampoo or conditioner since my hair responds to these extremely well!

I love Alba botanical products. I've used the coconut milk shampoo and conditioner before. It is great when my hair and/or scalp starts to get dry, itchy. My hair is 2C curly and this makes my waves look smooth and soft vs dry and kinky. I rated it a 4 because it leaked all over the shipping envelope. This the second time I received an Alba hair product in which this happened. They should probably be shipped in a cardboard box instead of the bubble envelope....just saying.Otherwise, recommend this product.

I just got this and used it this morning. I love the way it smells and makes my hair feel. I was looking for a shampoo that was paraben free and I love the way that both the shampoo and conditioner smell. It is working well for my hair and I have just used it for the first time but can't wait to see how it will work through the next shampoos. I am sold and I will order it again and again. I have very long hair and I just loved that the shampoo could sit in it for a while and felt so healthy, not like something that I wanted to shampoo out right away. I don't really care if it lathers up, it felt good and healing to my hair. The conditioner was wonderful feeling as well. It felt so good to put it on my hair and I did feel like it was going into the hair shaft and making my hair stronger, which I definitely want. I would say that it is definitely different and smells better then any other shampoo that I have used and I have used some of the best out there.

Poor quality

I’m not sure how this brand does it. I have been using Shea moisture shampoo for years and years and years now because of the clean ingredients. But my hair always felt kind of... meh? Somehow dry at ends and greasy at the roots. Well I visited my mom and these were in her shower so I used them. WOW. I thought I just had troublesome hair. Nope, wrong products. These are amazing and have totally changed my hair texture.My hair somehow gets less greasy at the top but is soft all the way down. I don’t even need a leave in with these but they aren’t greasy whatsoever. I will buy these until the day I die. I have long and fine but thick brown hair, wavy, porous. Greasy easily but ends suffer. If your hair is anything like mine, this will feel great. I am somehow 28 and have just NOW figured out the best shampoo ever.....

This was a 2-pack of Shampoo & Conditioner and it is an excellent product for my type of hair and living location’s environment (humid). However, it was shipped in the bubble wrap lined envelope and the shampoo leaked out about 1-2 ounces. As this is an expensive item, I would hope that the shipping/packaging methods would not allow for loss of product.
