I use this to lack my toolbox at work. I wrap it around the been twice nobody can get into it. It’s great it’s durable, and it’s worth every penny.

So, I bought the 3 pack thinking that they would be keyed the same. They are not. 3 different keys.Also, while they work, the keys do not all fit “smoothly” into the keyhole and once you turn the key, the cable lock kind of “sticks” in the lock. If you are looking to unlock a gun in a hurry, for example, these WILL slow down your process. I played with them for a good half hour trying to get used to them and find a trick to speed up the unlocking process. There isn’t one. Something about the design of the lock keeps the cable end in the lock. You have to kind of move it around and tug on it to get it out. There is no spring to push it out. And that’s after you play around with getting the key in in the first place.Do they work as gun locks? Technically, yes. Will I be looking for better replacements? You better believe it. I would not recommend these unless you just need a cheap way to secure a few guns. If you are looking to ever get to one for self defense or anything, then get a different lock.
