Unbelievable Find
Had tried to find this product to replace two of mine that had stopped functioning. My Philips Respironics box is very old. Contacted one main dealer who said it was not manufactured anymore. Looked on E-Bay & all I could find was 2nd hand ones in USA non returnable at an expensive price & high postage & import duties. Found this at a reasonable price & after finding it worked well with old box ordered another one.

Replacement due. I'll update then
It looked decent, and it fit the connector fine. The device powered up fine. There is an issue seemingly with the one I received the customer service was responsive so I'm updating my review to reflect that and I'll see what the replacement does.

Reassuringly heavy and fitted with the correct value fuse.
First impressions of this power supply are very good. The unit has a bit of heft about it that suggests suitably rated components have been used inside. There are no rattles or signs of anything moving inside when the charger is shaken or hit. The seams are all tight with no evidence of creaking. This appears to be a well-constructed device. It’s nice to see a correctly rated fuse fitted in the plug as well. I have found so many manufacturers getting this wrong that it is a pleasant surprise when it’s done right. There is plenty of strain relief on the cables and they look made to last. There is a converter cable in the box that changes the plug from a fat Dell laptop type connector to a more standard 5.5x2.5mm plug. The description says that it does not support this size plug, but there was one included anyway. The mains cable is about 1.1m long and the DC cable is the same length (without the adapter cable fitted).I feel confident that this power supply is safe to use.

80W 12V PSU with a 7.4*5.0mm connection, v1.02
This is a 12v 7a 80w PSU by a major manufacturer. It doesn't have an indicator 'power on' light, which is not uncommon, thought I am moving to prefer PSU with the 'power on' light.Read the 'Product Details' carefully. This 80w PSU doesn't have the standard size connector, it will not be compatible with most adapter sets that you might have acquired. This has a 7.4*5.0mm connector, not the 5.5*2.5mm. You need an adapter for different connections and while I have noticed some, there doesn't appear to be a wide range. So, this is a non standard PSU, with real reasons why. It looks to be a quality device.
