The less info you get going in, the better
This book is a quirky and odd tale, you don't know where it's going to lead you until you get there. All that I will say is I loved the way the story unraveled and it was deeply satisfying.

Fun read that does satire wonderfully
Since I work in a "start-up-like" culture, this book really made me giggle and feel seen at some of the absurdities of the new-found ~ work culture ~ folks are experiencing. Read it for a book club, and while the conversations surrounding the book weren't super deep, I found it to be a fun read.

just ok
Story had twists but also a lot of not so interesting non relevant parts. Not a very deep story as it could have been. I wouldn’t recommend.

Nice early novel
The ending was very improbable - almost ridiculous. Too bad because it was very engaging at times. The story almost veered into science fiction type writing at the end which didn’t flow with the rest of the book. I think it was written by two people and that may account for its disjointed.

Clever and Biting
One of the best books I've read so far this year. It's Inclusive, witty, and smart. It's a love letter to friendship, and a scathing but honest review of male culture.

A Very Nice Story
Sweet, funny, emotional, LGBTQIA+ representing, need I say more?! I swept through this book SO quickly; it's a light read that's enjoyable and heart-pulling every chapter through. Would recommend!

Self absorbed quirkiness
I noticed that the book was described as “quirky” after I finished it and I immediately thought the quirky was overdone. I felt like the authors were always striving for quirky instead of letting it come naturally. There was also too much of the IKEA-style product naming. I get that it was part of the story, but it got tiresome. And despite a comparison to Elinor (Eleanor? Can’t remember) Oliphant , it really wasn’t comparable, the latter being much, much better. That being said, it was an ok read. I enjoyed parts of it so I gave it a three. I just felt like it was always trying too hard.

Couldn't put it down
The story and the characters kept me reading. The resolution was a bit pat, but I enjoyed the book enough to hope they have written more.

Brilliant read.
Absorbing and unpredictable. I did not want to put it down. Great pace and would make a great movie. Can’t wait for more writing from these authors.
