Best eyeshadow that lasts all day
I really like these eyeshadow sticks! The formula glides on easily and blends beautifully*, but blend it quickly because once it sets, it DOES NOT BUDGE. (YMMV if you have oily lids.) I can put it on in the morning and it will look exactly the same at bedtime. If that wasn't great enough, it comes off easily too, with micellar water or other makeup remover. Worth the effort!Overall, I love using these much more than any powder shadow I've ever tried, even high-end brands.*I use a brush to blend. I find that works much better than the included sponge tip.I don't find the need for an eyeshadow primer with these. In fact, when I've used one, it creates a sticky/tacky texture that's harder to blend. Maybe I just haven't used the right primer, but I don't need one with these.I have 15 shades and counting. I like some better than others. I'll give my take on each one below. (I have fair skin with olive undertones, brown eyes, and dark hair.)In general, shimmer shades are medium coverage, but buildable. Matte shades are pretty full coverage, but very blendable. I tend to like the shimmer shades better than the mattes. I know conventional wisdom is that mattes are better for 'mature' skin, but I find the light-reflecting quality of the shimmers very flattering. In my opinion, the mattes can look a little stark and dusty, drawing more attention to wrinkles.- Amethyst shimmer: very pretty, cool dark purple. It lightens up when I blend it, but I think it's buildable.- Blush pink metallic: very, very sheer glittery pink. Useful as a highlighter if you like glitter, but I don't.- Cherry cola matte: lovely deep eggplant, good for outer corners.- Clay matte: a dusty pink, kind of the color of baby doll skin? Works well for a no-makeup look for lighter skin tones.- Cocoa shimmer: perfect dark brown. I use this on my outer corners most days.- Flame shimmer: a nice, warm light pinky peach.- Lilac matte: this was a poor choice on my part, lol. Too cool for my skin tone, too unnatural looking for my preference.- MInk mauve metallic: a nice medium taupe, but I kinda overlooked the 'metallic' part -- it really is shinier than a shimmer, which limits it to evening wear for me.- Mocha matte: great for outer corners.- Orchid shimmer: very pretty warm purple.- Pearl shimmer: beautiful, true to the name. Good for inner corners or as a highlighter.- Putty matte: matches my skin color but brightens it a bit. I use it for a base, to even out my veiny lids.- Red wine shimmer: very pretty ruby/russet. I use on outer corners.- Rose shimmer: I expected a dusty pink but this is more like a dark rose gold. A good transitional shade or for making a fake crease.- Sand shimmer: too glittery for me, so I returned it and ordered champagne shimmer, the next step in my quest for a neutral shimmer shade for my lids.- Smoky tawny matte: I didn't expect this to be very exciting, but it is a fantastic transitional shade for my skin tone, great for making a fake crease and lifting my saggy browbones.- Stone matte: dark grey with a hint of plum. Nice for outer corners.

Sloppy Re-stocking - But a GREAT Product!
The product I ordered was a beige-colored Julep eyeshadow stick called "Vanilla Matte", that had a tube applicator. The product box and tube applicator I received were both labelled "Khaki Green Shimmer", and the eye shadow in the tube was, in fact, an iridescent green color. However, the product box had also had a big label applied to its surface that identified it as "B09DZ48B52 - Vanilla Matte". But on several other occasions, I have purchased other Julep eyeshadow stick colors without a problem, and found this to be a really GREAT product. It applies easily and evenly, the tube ensures accurate application, and the shadow truly does hold its color on skin for 8-10 hours.

Easy application but not long-lasting
I've been using the Julep Eyeshadow Stick for a few weeks now, and it's a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the formula is smooth and creamy—it glides on easily and blends well, which makes it perfect for quick, effortless application. I also really like that one end of the stick includes a built-in blending tool. The color range is beautiful—rich, wearable shades that suit a variety of looks. However, I’ve noticed that the color tends to fade by the end of the day. Another downside is that the stick itself breaks easily, even with careful use, which takes away from the overall experience. All in all, it’s a nice product with great colors and a user-friendly design, but the longevity and fragility leave something to be desired.

Definitely worth buying
I noticed this eyeshadow was a best seller and since I have never heard of the brand or the specific product, I definitely wanted to try it. it's a convenient and handy way to use eyeshadow. I also like how thick the eyeshadow crayon is. It also doesn't rub off easily throughout the day. The pigment is a pretty texture/color. only thing I can complain about is after applying the eyeshadow it slowly turns into a lighter color black, rather than it staying black black. Then bc of that it can look sort of dull. For the most part, it's a great eyeshadow and I will purchase more colors.

Minimalist Makeup Maximized
As you can see from my photo, I love these a bunch! I wear contacts and have combo skin, so powders don’t last long and get into the eyes, plus the dust makes a mess, especially if a cake breaks. These shadows fix all those problems, plus they’re ultra compact and can replace blush and brow makeup. I apply Orchid with a powder brush for sun-kissed color on my cheeks, temples and nose, and it stays ALL DAY. I blend Mocha and Cocoa for natural brows. My go-to eyes: in order of lightest inner to darkest outside/liner: Pearl,Stone,Cocoa. Always start with lightest to darkest or you make mud.

Mixed feelings
Reviews were so good on this; I wanted to give it a try. I found the application to be less than user friendly. The cream is a good texture and covers well, but I wasted quite a bit trying to apply smoothly. I thought it might just be me, so I ordered another. While I like the coverage, I don't think I will order again due to problems I had applying product.

Buildable and beautiful.
This stick eyeshadow is amazing. It is sold at a great price and works as well as the much more expensive brands. It builds beautifully and lasts all day long. The color I picked is just lovely. It has a subtle shimmer to it that stays all day. I will absolutely try more products from this company. It even has a mini blender on one end. Great find! Pick one up for yourself you won’t be sorry.
