Beautiful alternative to regular garlic - more subtle flavor. Arrived nicely packaged in bubble wrapped glass jar. Use in any recipe calling for regular garlic as 1 on 1 substitute. Think of it as the Kimchi of garlic. Highly recommended!

No fluid in jar at all. Packed with flavor but seems dry. Not sure how long it will keep but couldn’t find this item at even our high end butcher market.

Black garlic is always spendy, but this was great as its already peeled and ready to go. Made great black garlic aioli for or cheese burgers.

I love the taste of this garlic! It has a mild sweet taste. It is black and the appearance might not appeal to everyone, I eat it right out of the jar. It is a bit pricey.

I have used\ordered black garlic previously in the package of two bulbs from other sellers (same brand) and have been very happy. It would have a smooth creamy texture and add wonderful flavor to a dish. I thought this packaging of cloves in a jar would be better\more convenient, I was wrong. The cloves were hard as a rock and added no flavor. I couldn't even stick the point of a knife into it. It was a total waste. Will never by this product in this packaging again. I don't know if I received a bad jar, but I didn't try it until I was outside of my return window, I assumed it would be the same as the previously purchased product just in a different package because it is from the same manufacturer...but I was wrong and terribly disappointed in the version of the product.

Okay, to be honest, I think these garlics taste awful and can’t get myself to actually chew them. BUT, I know these are so healthy that I cut them up and swallow them like pills. I still give them a 5 star overall for quality and glad that I don’t reek of garlic while getting the health benefits! I have ordered a couple of times and shipping fast and wrapped great so no problems.

These are okay, but I think a bit overpriced. Very expensive for what they are. Yep, you can put them in salads and all kinds of things and get the wonderful benefits of garlic, without the overpowering taste of raw garlic, but for the price, I'd rather just roast some garlic and use it.The taste is okay, but I wouldn't say I just love the taste. I don't even know how to describe it. It's kind of a sweet taste, not really like garlic. I did some research to see how one could make black garlic yourself. It is very easy, but the process does take a very long time, so I guess that's why it's priced so high. However, it is just garlic, and garlic is easy to grow, easy to purchase, just seems like a lot of money for garlic.
