Jenolite Rust Converter is a great product.
After a bit of research into what product was best for my needs, I opted for Jenolite Rust Converter Spray. Stone chips had broken through the paint around the arch areas of my campervan, looking unsightly. A quick rub down on the affected area with 80 grit oxide paper back to clean metal, masking tape applied to avoid any overspray, then follow the instructions on the can - shake contents for a few mins, then apply from around 25cms, leave to dry circa 15 mins, then re-apply. It's clear initially, but as it gets to work it turns black, after 2 coats a thick protective layer is formed, after fully dry / cured the epoxy feels tough and has good coverage, I'm letting it fully harden over this week, and will look to apply a top coat of colour matched spray paint, and clear lacquer top coat to blend it in, and will then apply 2 coats of the Jenolite on top of the colour matched spray paint for added protective layer as it is clear. Good product, good performance straight out the tin with minimal prep, instructions are simple to follow.

Great rust proofing product
Excellent product, works really well on rusty gates and any other rusty surface. Good coverage, but remember to wear a face mask and gloves when using it.

Works well
Bought some of this to clear up unsightly surface rust on an old Range Rover P38 classic, works really well, seals in the rust and leave the surface looking treated and kinda new looking without looking like its just been undersealed. It show the natural ageing so doenst look to mask anything over. Also used on the bottom of a much newer Ranger Rover after seeing the results. Not that anyone really looks under the car that often but when its on the ramp for tyre changes or MOT all that surface rust just looks awful and will only lead to more later. So a quick dusting with this stuff on as many of the accessible parts you can get to leaves it looking alot better but also well treated so avoid the rust spreading. A light tickle after with some satin black spray has it looking like almost new. So much that last time I had the tyres done they guys had to check the age of the car as they said they couldn't believe how tidy it was!

2 or 3 coats is all it takes!
Using a wire brush drill attachmentment makes preparing the surface relatively easy. Then, give it a rub down with some brake cleaner, dry, and spray. I treated various places on my car and it gave me a solid, smooth, paintable surface.I highly recommend Jenolite for being simple to use and effective.

Easy to apply and get to inaccessible places
i thought my days of getting under a car were over. I had a fiat in the 70's so when the garage told me there was rust underneath my 13 year old mini i decided to act. Jacking the car up using a plank and the kerb i was able to crawl underneath safely and spy out the rusty bits. you should use a wire brush to get rid of the loose bits - which i tried to do where i could reach. Because this stuff is a spray i was able to coat everywhere i could see even if i were spraying through small gaps. Once applied the surface turns silvery. you do need to do 3 coats with at least a 20 minute gap. it does not state the coverage on the tin - i only had a few bits to do - around 1 square m (10 sq feet). i used the bitumen spray to cover after a 2 day wait - the bitumen coverage is much more - i feel i used about 1/4 to 1/3 of that to the whole tin of rust converter. i cannot give this a 5 star rating as the proof of it will be in a couple of years not weeks.
