Cheaper than the weld shops!
Good product seems the same quality as the ones they charge 3 times as much for down the road! Gotta save money where ya can to stay competitive and keep the bosses happy! Works for me!

Overall a great connector for the price but failed on first use.
This review is for the "WeldingCity Dinse-type (50mm) Power Cable Adapter Plug Connector (Solid) for TIG Welding Torch 9-series and 17-series" that I recently purchased. It is very similar construction to a genuine Miller cable adapter plug bought from a welding supply store over 10 years ago. What's good:DINSE connector fits my Maxstar 200ST machine perfectly. The copper core, power lug and twist lock are well made - it's the same dimensions and size as that used in the older Miller adapter. A Weldcraft (now Miller) WP-17 torch power cable mates just fine. What's ok:The plastic outer shell is a bit thinner and not as sturdy as the Miller, though definitely good enough for the price. Incidentally, the copper core from the Miller fits perfectly into the WeldingCity plastic shell, and vice versa. The gas hose is as good as the Miller was when new and is about the same length (a little over 12 inches?)What's bad:Unfortunately, when connected to an argon flowmeter it failed immediately. Looks like the hose ferrule was never crimped. See the photo comparing the ferrules at both ends of the hose. The second photo shows the older Miller hose fitting (ferrule not shown) and the WeldingCity hose fitting (with uncrimped ferrule).Overall this is a great connector for the price, but unfortunately I couldn't use it and have to send it back for replacement. If you need it for a job or time constrained perhaps better to buy an extra. I'd recommend sliding the hex nut back and inspecting the ferrule and make sure it's manufactured well. I'd also check it for leaks with soapy water. (Mix a little dish washing soap in a small glass with little water, soak a paper towel and then mop it around the gas fittings - a leak will have obvious bubbles.)

Performed as expected
Hose is exactly what I needed. Itโs a little stiff but for what need it should work fine. Wonโt be the best for winter projects.

Great replacement style hose/cable
Great replacement style hose/cable. Works as intended but its a bit stiff when compared to a ultraflex style cable. If you are just looking for a standard or quick replacement cable then these do the job perfectly.
